Looks like they're pushing the weekends. If using points, it would 'cost' a member between 24 and 29 per night.

At just under $190/night (cash, including taxes) for weekends at OKW or SSR, it's not too bad, but if you just consider the maintenance cost of points (about $4.50 average), then a points stay would be better, at less than $130/night.

However if you want to consider the initial purchase price included, then average points might be about $8.50, making a points stay costing about $225, thus making the Visa offer slightly better.

Of course it's quite a bit better than someone renting points in the $10-$12 range. At $169 plus tax, and averaging 26.5 pts, it comes out to getting the reservation at an equivalent $7.11 per point.
