My husband and I both have Disney VISA cards. Can our friends that are traveling to WDW with us join us in the character spot or is it limited to families of cardholders??:confused3

Thanks!

Your friends can definitely join you. If you and your husband have different account numbers on the Disney VISAs, then you can get a total of 2 prints. :)

We tried to take all 16 of our group inside....but they said it was limited to 10 people can go in on a single Disney VISA.....if you have different account numbers you can go back a second time if you have more than 10, otherwise it's limited to once per day per Disney VISA account. So we ended up splitting into two groups of 8, but it would have been so much fun to have all 16 in one photo. Sigh. oh well, we had plenty of other group shots with the whole group, but for some reason that particular venue said no way. It is a smallish room, but each group of 8 didn't fill it half way so we'd have been able to fit.

Where can I get more info about the VISA Character Meet and Greet? My husband and I both have one. Thank you!

You can also use your reward card to get in and get a photo. We were a group of 7, 2 families, and got in together. We had 3 pictures taken, group and 2 individual families.

We do this once per vacation. Does anyone know if you can have this done daily or is it really limited to once per vacation?

This is good to know as my dd wants to meet Minnie better option than waiting in MK.

On our trip last year we got a great surprise at the VISA character spot---Mickey, Minnie and Goofy all together! We were all thrilled..the big cheese himself! pixiedust:

The Character Spot is a good place at EPCOT too. You get Mickey, Minnie and Goofy and the lines haven't been that long since they changed the location. You can't see into the meet and greet from the outside and Pluto and Donald have been removed from this location.

Both myself and DH have a Disney Visa card - I never knew about this benefit - fantastic!!! I know where the character spot is in Epcot for this - and from what people say, you can use this once/day - but are there characters at other parks you can use this for? Or is this just at Epcot?

Just at EPCOT. You generally get 2 characters, sometimes 3 and lately it has been Mickey, Minnie or Goofy. Minnie is almost always there

I just asked this in another thread I found but have no response yet..

Is there a better time to go between the window of 1-7 for a shorter wait? How long is the wait generally?

I would say right when it opens is probably a good time. When we did it a couple years ago we had to wait about 30 or so minutes, but from what I have read online it was sort of a fluke that during a fairly quiet time in the parks that we had such a long wait.

It's one of the most pleasant waits at Disney. There are computer terminals for the kids to play with while the parents wait, and it's muted lighting and well air conditioned. Highly recommended in the peak of the day's heat.

We do this every trip, and have waited as little as five minutes and as long as thirty.

In my experience since they lengthened the operating times, the later hours have been dead. Go after 5pm and you'll probably be a walk up or wait no more than 1-2 parties ahead of you.

It always seems to have longer lines mid-day since many people stay in FW until dinner time and then move to WS for the evening.
