I have notified in writing that a merger will be taking place between Bank One and J P Morgan Chase. Does anyone have any insight if they will be keeping the Disney Logo on the cards . And if they will keep the same perks and Disney Dollars.

First off, the merger was completed almost 9 months ago (7/1/04). Since then, the perks have actually gotten better (double points for certain purchase over a certain amount). Perks always change, for better or worse, depending on your life style. The logo will probably stay the same, remember it's only a logo and has nothing to do with credit limits, interest rates, etc. You will be issued a new card when your current card expires and your guess is as good as mine as to what the logo will look like.

While we're on the topic, I would recommend changing your account number with the renew card.....it helps deter cc theft. Yes, it can cause some automatic pay billing issues, but it's worth it. JMO :magnify:

I have had the Disney Visa for about two years and struggle with whether to find a card with better perks. It seems even with the short time of double points, the rewards accumulate slowly and the special offers aren't that great.
