Disney Visa Card Question

Does anyone know if you book a qualifying vacation pkg on the Disney Visa card and get 6 months to pay do you still have to make a minimum payment every month? Keeping in mind it's the only charge on the card. I was sure you did not have to pay anything until the end of the promotion period, Chase tells me different.

Yes, you have to make a payment. I called about this last year when my trip was the only charge. They explained that it is interest free, but still requires minimum payments.

this JUST happened to me this past month! my disney package balance was all that was on my card so i didn't make a payment, since i have until january to pay it off interest free-WRONG! i got zapped w/ a 28.00 late fee and upon calling disney visa, was informed it was b/c i didn't make the minimum payment in september.

It's just like when you buy furniture or anything else with no interest. You still have to make payments, and it is in you best interest to have it paid for before grace period is up.

I was pay as much as I can from when I book until the balance is due. Then I charge the rest on Visa. It gives you some extra time to pay for the trip.
