Disney Visa Card Discounts

It was my understanding that certain merchants/resturants offer discounts to folks using their disney visa to pay for their purchases/meals. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, is there a listing of the places within WDW that offer these discounts? What amount is the discount? Have any of you utilized the discounts at certain places?

You do not get any discounts at disney for merchandise or food using the disney visa. They were having a promotion at the big disney store at disney marketplace but it is no longer listed on the credit card's website so I think that was discontinued. You can show your disney visa at epcot at certain times at innoventions and get a free photo. The only perk really is you get points that you can transfer to a card and use that for merchandise and food like a debit card.

Actually, you do get a 10% discount at the World of Disney store in DTD for using your card. I was just there and was happy for that benefit. It saved me a bundle!

According to the promo site, you can get discounts at restaurants at Disneyland... not WDW. Another Disneyland-only benefit is free stroller rental. You do get 10% off at World of Disney ($25 minimum purchase, some high-end stuff won't count) - I used this in January.

You also get 20% off tours (better than the 15% that DVC members get) - I used this for the excellent Keys to the Kingdom tour last month. That was $23.20 in savings right there for my wife and I. If we do the Backstage Magic tour next time, it will save $79.60!

Oh, and 6-months no-interest for WDW packages or DVC down payments.

My only regret is that I didn't find the $50 reward offer at signup until shortly after I got the card... I only got the $15 Disney Store credit, which is not nearly as nice.
