Hi, I just looked on Mouse savers today and saw this:

Bounceback Discount Promotion

This offer is available ONLY to guests who are currently staying at one of the official Walt Disney World resorts, and could end at any time.

Using a special phone number provided on a flyer provided in some resort rooms, you can book a room for stays during selected 2008 low season dates (in January, February, March, April, August and September), at a Walt Disney World resort and receive a discount of 20% off rack rates at Value resorts; 30% off rack rates at Moderate and Deluxe resorts; or 40% off rack rates at DVC/Deluxe Villa resorts.

The specific dates reported so far include:

Moderate resorts, 30% off most nights 1/6/08-2/2/08; 2/24/08-3/1/08; 3/30/08-4/21/08; 8/10/08-9/27/08

Deluxe resorts, 30% off most nights 1/6/08-2/2/08; 2/24/08-3/1/08; 3/30/08-4/21/08; 8/10/08-9/27/08

DVC/Deluxe Villa resorts, 40% off for most Sunday-Thursday nights 1/6/08-2/2/08; most nights 2/24/08-2/28/08; 3/30/08-4/21/08; 8/10/08-9/27/08

If you don't get the offer on a flyer in your room, I recommend asking at the front desk. I've also seen reports that the resort TV channel was showing this offer.

Reservation for 2008 must be made before you check out to qualify, and there are no exceptions made. A deposit of one night's room and tax is required at time of reservation.

I notice it has the month of September listed. Is this good right now? Im going to Port Orleans Riverside in May ( 70 days left!! ), and is this saying that while Im down there this May I can go to the front desk and tell them I want to book a room only stay for this Sept at 30% off rack rate? I also have an AP. Is the bounceback offer usually better, worse or the same as the AP discounts?

"This offer is available ONLY to guests who are currently staying at one of the official Walt Disney World resorts, and could end at any time. "

The way I read it is that they are offering the bounceback to people who are there now. I don't know if they would still be offering it in May..but I doubt it:guilty:

You chances are good that it will still be offered. It started during our October 2007 trip and was still running when we were there in late January 2008 (I was hoping for a new one). We were there early Feb 2008 after the cruise and again still the same bounce back. Actually the front desk will not help you, you have to call the special phone number and book your trip.

I just read this too, and we're thinking of going for a quick trip with this Disney Visa email we just got. So, we might be able to book at BCV with the 40% off if we get this flyer in our room, IF we go in the next couple weeks.

This would be better than free dining.... :rolleyes1

I'll have to study my charts & spreadsheets now. :teacher:
