We have both a non premier and premier account. We opened the first one because we wanted to surprise our parents and go on the
Disney cruise they booked for their anniversary, and it offered 6 months no interest financing. Our first month, we got $40 rewards and came home to a $50 gift card and got $50 on board credit. We started using it for everything. When we put down our deposit on our May cruise, it cost us $22 per person to book thanks to rewards and the gift card! And then in November, I opened up my own Premier account ($49 annual fee but up to 2% on select purchases) in order to help establish my own credit, but it has a lower limit (great! Its just for gas and groceries and Disney anyway which we get 2% on), and for opening the account, I got a $200 gift card, and earned back the $50 for my first month of rewards. I've gotten $50 every month since, and January's is getting to roll over. Long story short, I paid in full for my cruise this last weekend. Of the $1200 cruise, we paid $620, and yes, that did include gratuities. 50% off of a
DCL! Yes, $250 of that were gift cards we won't get to plan for next year, but I'll take it! In the meantime, I'll get points for the Disney cruise we booked with it and will be able to use those towards the tickets I'm going to order on it in April, and that will reduce the price of my tickets and will also go on no interest financing for 6 months. And then I will take the rewards from those and hopefully have some to cover my Epcot or PALO dinner!
So yes, we are liking the card A LOT at this point. We ditched our venture capitol one this year and switched to their premier. Because we NEVER ONCE flew anywhere with it! I guess we opted for cash back or something. Let's just say, having this card is already proving much more fun.
It also makes my utility power bill this month have a silver lining.

At 1%, at least I'll be able to contribute $5.56 alone due to the power bill..(do the math..
