Hi everyone,

Heading to DLP on 29th September this year for 3 nights with my b/f and his little sister, we are both 24 and she is 12.

Just wondering how entertaining Disney Village is? Is the Hurricaine Nightclub still open? if so are you allowed children in? what else is there to do at night time?

Thanks xx

Hi, welcome to the boards. :)

Unfortunately, Hurricanes closed earlier this year. There is a thread a bit further down discussing alternative evening entertainment (another poster asked the same question as you earlier today!).

Im not sure how you get there but they have bowling somewhere near the village we saw the light up moving bowling display as we walked back a few times. not much help am I :lmao: but hopefully someone will come along and say where it is

Hi
Been afew times with teenage girls and in an evening they have been happy to have a meal out then sit with us while we had a glass of wine.

They have normally been tired from walking around the parks and shopping, not that they would admit it though!!!!!!!!

You are more likely to end up in the shops for hours looking at stuff you can and cannot afford ;)

It's the NEX arcade where the bowling alleys are, I think ground floor is bowling, ice hockey etc., first floor electronic games.
We walked down to it in 2009 but it was closed for refurb, I assume it reopened but I had read that it was earmarked for a replacement nightclub,
To get to it you go down the side of the cinema, so after exiting the parks turn right and it's a little way down there on the left.

Think you'd all enjoy the Buffalo Bill show, see seperate thread for a really good offer on tickets, the Sports Bar is a very nice place to sit and have a drink and a snack, (does get busy of there are any popular sports events on) and there is a small games arcade next to it. I'd also recommend eating during the evening as you'll have quite short park days, Cafe Mickey would be good fun, but think you'd all also enjoy Planet Hollywood and Rainforest Cafe, Billy Bob's has line dancing on certain nights and live acts on others :)

it was open dec 09 as we saw the moving bowling light up men display as we left the dineyland hotel

Teenage girls tired of shopping :rotfl2:
After experiencing shopping trips with my nieces, I do not think it is possible.
