Does Disney sell anything similar to the Pillow Pet at WDW? My DD loves Pluto and I thought I had read somewhere on the Dis that someone saw them at a Disney park.

Thanks!

They had Pluto pillow pet-like things at DLR at the beginning of September. Since the merchandise is largely the same, I expect they have them at WDW too. They were about $25 if I remember right.

Thanks so much for the reply! I am going to call WDW Merchandising tomorrow and see what I can find!

We just got back from Disney World and they have these Disney characters Littlest Pet Shop toys, too. They aren't technically LPS, but the same idea, with a bowl or bone or some other accessory. We got Stitch, Pluto, Marie, Dumbo, Cheshire Cat, and Lady. So cute!!!

I bought Pluto, Eeyore and Tigger Pillow Pets at DLR in August, I think I paid $24.99 or something similar. Be careful with the Eeyore ones.. I had to look through the pile of them to find one that didn't have tears at one seam or another. It seems like the material it is made of is not the quality of the other two..

and those were the only characters, I asked the CM as my daughter doesn't like any of those characters..

I can post pics tomorrow, I can't pry them away from my sleeping kids now..

My dd would love the Marie one! Where did you buy it? My parents are going to the World before xmas, I may have to have them pick it up for her.

Ooh, we got the little Pluto one last month. We were there for a quick weekend to go to MNSHHP. DD loves her little Pluto. Of course Pillow Pets and Christmas gifts were not even on my radar so I never even thought to look when I was there!

Please post any information you receive. I'm very interested. Thanks

Will do!

Pics would be great! I plan on calling this morning if I can occupy my DD so that I can escape to another room! Thanks for the heads up on Eeyore.

We have the little Pluto and we got him at the big store in Toontown at the MK. I would guess they have them in most shops...they are adorable! I can post a pic if you would like. The other thing we found is a little tiny Minnie Mouse that comes with the different rubber dresses and accessories. DD has the Princess ones that you can buy pretty much anywhere but we have never seen Minnie other than WDW. It is adorable! It was $12.95...I expected it to be a little more so we were pleased!

Here is the Minnie dressup set...it's from my cell so the pic isn't great.

laughingplacestore is where you can buy Disney park merchandise online. My sister used them to buy my hubby and I the honeymoon hats a few years ago. They don't have the pillows for sale right now but I am sure if you wrote to them and asked, they probably would be able to buy them and sell them to you. Of course, you are going to pay more for them than if you were at Disney and bought them yourself. However, if you don't live near WDW and have no plans to be there any time soon but want to buy the pillows, this is a cheaper option than paying to travel to WDW and then paying a ticket just to buy some merchandise lol.

I would be careful ordering from places like that....if you do a search on the board there are a number of people who have gotten burned from some of these shopping at disney sites. Not saying if this is one of them but something to check into ;)

I plan on calling WDW Merchandising when I can get some privacy from DD, lol! I have called them before for items we wanted after leaving WDW. There is no mark up and you just pay for the shipping. Here is a brief description.

Hours: Monday through Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm. All times Eastern time zone.

Tell them as much detail about the item as you can remember. Important things are where you saw it (what park or even better which shop), as detailed a description as possible including the price if you remember it, and the size and/or color of what you are looking for. They will search their database of thousands of merchandise items to try to locate what you seek.

Most times they can come up with a match. They will tell you the SKU number of the item (this is the unique computer coded number assigned to every item that Disney sells) and the cost of the item. Merchandise purchased through the Mail Order department sells at exactly the same retail price as it does in the parks. You will however be charged a shipping cost to have the item sent to you.

Good hint for WDW Shoppers: if you see something while at WDW that you may want to purchase at a later time, it is always good to write the SKU number on price tag. It helps them locate the items faster. They have thousands of items there and they are always changing
.

I got the LPS-like toys at Mousegears in Epcot. They were also in Magic Kingdom on Main Street in one of those shops. Very cute if your kids like that type of toy--I think they were $7 each.

Does anyone have a SKU for either the LPS type toys or the pillow pet type pillow?

The SKU for the LPS Pluto is:

SKU: 00129 48770
Price: $6.95
Disney Tails Pluto

I would love to have the SKU for one of the pillow pets.

Id love to see a picture too. My son said he wasnt interested in the regular pillow pets, but I bet he'd love these.

Hey, Betsy and all!

We just bought the Unicorn and Bumblebee pillow pets from TRUs but if there are Disney versions, I'm sure we'll end up buying one of these, too. We leave in 29 days so I'm hoping someone will post a picture.

The original ones are so soft!
