Disney version of Pillow Pets?

Does Disney sell anything similar to the Pillow Pet at WDW? My DD loves Pluto and I thought I had read somewhere on the Dis that someone saw them at a Disney park.

Does anyone have the Pluto pillow from the movie rewards site? I see it, and I have enough points to get it. It looks cute, but I don't think it's the same one the sell in the parks. It doesn't look as fluffy, and the head is on the long side of the pillow, instead of the short side like other pillow pets. I'd hate to use all my points and then be disappointed. I'm hoping someone can give a review of it!

Ok, thank you! I'm not sure why I was thinking the head was on the short side. Maybe because DD's pillow pet's head is less prominent than the Pluto head, and I didn't notice, lol.

It does look really cute!

ETA: The DMA Pluto pillow is 10.5" x 18" and DD's Pillow Pet is 18" x 18" -- maybe that's why I thought his head was on the 'wrong' side lol. Pluto is a rectangle and our PP is a square.

LOL, now you've got me measuring... My girls' pillow pets (penguin and ladybug, both PP brand) are 12 x 18, so Pluto is a bit narrower but not much. Which is probably why it didn't look different to me, since he's basically the same size & shape as the ones we've got laying around.

I have this exact one that I bought in WDW at World of Disney in January and my DD loves it! I actually started this thread before Christmas looking desperately for a Pluto. I never got it for Christmas but I did get Lucky the Dalmation from Ebay. Lucky and Pluto are different. Lucky has actual paws and Pluto is just a square pillow with the head.

I had given up on Pluto and was walking through the World of Disney and saw a girl with one. I ran to find them and there was 1 left...the CM said they could not keep them in stock and that they were never sure when more would be coming.

I would definitely get it...it's adorable and my DD uses it every night!

I actually saw Disney pillow pet type things being put on the shelves in the Super Fresh grocery store that I shop at today. Didn't stop to look but I'm sure I also saw a Winnie the Pooh and a Tow Mater.

I saw some of the new Disney ones at Publix today (grocery store). They were cute. I am sure Pluto is cute in person too, he just looks different the Disney World version. I am sure the kids (and adults) will all LOVE him! Great deal from DMR!

Well I got my Pluto pillow pet from DMR yesterday. I must say it's not at all as nice as the pics disneiejunky99 posted of hers. I was a bit disappointed at first, but I remembered it was free and I didn't have anything better to use my points on anyway. I have no idea how to post pics on here or I would. It's not "fuzzy", doesn't have defined feet, it's smaller than a regular pillow pet and the head is small. Just thought I'd let ya know! If they still have them when/if we go to Disney NEXT fall I'd buy myself a regular one...

The last time I saw Disney pillow pets in the parks they were different than the ones disneyjunkie and I posted pictures of.

I don't think the ones in the parks now are exactly like the free DMR ones, although it's kind of hard to tell just from pictures, but I definitely noticed that the "fur" on the new ones was different and that they didn't have the defined paws anymore. I think they were more square shaped than the DMR ones though, but I won't vouch for that 100% since I didn't buy one, so I'm just going from memory.

Next time I'm there I'll try to remember to take a picture and come post it.

BTW, this was at DLR not WDW, but I'm guessing the pillow pets would be the same on both coasts.

I received mine also and I am so disappointed. That goodness it was free. I would have been really upset if I paid for it.

I got mine too and I have to agree with the previous reviews. It is smaller than our other Pillow Pets and not as plush. For free it is fine but I certainly wouldn't pay $25+ for one of this quality. I think it'll end up making a good travel pillow, though, because it is smaller than the others. I'll post pics before I wrap it; it is a birthday present for DD2 so I have to find a time when she's not around to get it out!
