Disney version of Pillow Pets?

Hey, Betsy and all!

We just bought the Unicorn and Bumblebee pillow pets from TRUs but if there are Disney versions, I'm sure we'll end up buying one of these, too. We leave in 29 days so I'm hoping someone will post a picture.

The original ones are so soft!

Just so everyone is clear - the Disney Pillow-Pet *LIKE* items are not official Pillow Pets. They are Disney knock-offs of the idea.

For anyone looking for pictures of the other 5 playsets- try Ebay. I didn't see the pillows there though.

We just walked out of the Main Street shops (on the bus to SSR right now!) And no pillow pets to be found. My DS5 was very disappointed. We only saw them at AK on the path to Everest so far. We're going to try WOD tonight since we hadn't planned on returning to AK this trip.

Well, I just had a disappointing call to WDW Merchandising. She at first could not find anything and then did find regular animal ones which they are still selling at AK. She said they DID sell Pluto, Eeyore, Tigger and Lucky but they are now liquidated and no longer being sold

I got the numbers for both of the Disney outlets and called them and they have nothing. They did tell me to call back towards the end of the week and maybe something will have changed.

If anyone would mind giving the SKU so we can be sure that Merchandising is looking at the correct thing, that would be great. A pic would also work so that I could give a more detailed description when I call the outlets on Friday.

btw...are these made identical to a Pillow Pet? With the velcro strap that pulls it together?

I saw them two weeks ago at DLR in the shop across from Indiana Jones, they has a couple regular animals and then Pluto. Of course, I posted this in the pillow pets thread so you might have read my post already. I wish we hadn't been flying, I would have bough DS one. No one was even near them or looking. I think one other was a hippo and can't remember the 3rd, Pluto just caught my eye. I have on idea if he had a strap or not. I picked him up to check the price but that was it.

The plot thickens

I decided to call back to WDW Merchandising today and see if I would get the same response. The CM I talked to today said they will be getting the Disney character pillows sometime from November to December. I mentioned to her that people have seen them at DLR and she instructed me to call DLR Merchandising. After calling them, they DID have them also but they are completely sold out park wide. She also said they have the regular animals but no characters.

I now know the correct name is a Disney Reverse Pillow.

I then went to ebay where I actually found Lucky the Dalmation! He is adorable so I bought him since every answer seems to be different when you call about these things! I was unable to find any other characters at this point. There were 2 sellers before I bought mine...now there is one seller left with 2 Lucky's. If you search on ebay for "DISNEY Lucky 20" reverse pillow plush NEW" you will be able to see it. I ended up paying the same I would have if I ordered from Disney so I'm pretty happy about that!

I still plan on trying for Pluto if he ever becomes available! If anyone learns any new info, please let me know!

While it's not exactly a pillow pet - I did see a very cute large plush pillow like Nemo at WDW a few weeks ago - it had a pocket pouch in the back for pajamas.

and if Disney would actually make the pillow pets, i am sure i would buy at least five of them. i have a penguin one on my own bed that i totally love. my DH & i have a little boy due in Jan & i can't wait to buy him the yellow duckie one!! i heart pillow pets too!!

According to the CM at WOD, there are no Disney character pillow pets anywhere at WDW, just the regular animal ones at AK.

I purchased a Pluto pillow 2 months ago at Disneyland, and just yesterday was at Disneyland to check out what they had for a friend. They currently only have the Tigger ones. Like someone else mentioned, they are called 20" Tigger Reverse Pillow Plush, the bar code # is 4 00013 19771 9 I think they are $27. I took a photo, but I am unable to post attachmnents-sorry

We have the Pluto pillow. We got it at Disneyland at the end of July. He was bought at the Main Street Emporium and his sku # is 400122721423. His price is $25.95. We still have our receipts from our trip. This is the only picture I have of it right now...

OK, that's definitely the cutest picture of one of the pillow pets, even if you can't see him all that well.

is there anywhere online I can buy this Pluto pillow pet? My DS would LOVE it. I didn't see any of these when we were there. Would have bought one for sure!
