Disney Vacay with the Love Bugs (New 6/23 update ~ Chef Mickeys)

I love all the pictures! My dh would NEVER pose like that with Buzz. I wish he would. And the pic with the kids and hook? That is awesome!! I want a picture like that with my youngest boy. He will be 16 on our next trip. Do you think he will go for it?

I had not rode COP, nor did I know it existed either until our September trip. I enjoyed it...and even now... that song... just thinking about it can get it stuck in my head.

Hey Amy......

Madelyn gets out of school next week and the following week we are heading to Myrtle Beach. I would prefer Edisto, but the family vetoed me.

Anyways.....I have never made it to Tom Sawyer's Island nor have I eaten at CHH. I will attempt that this year.

When we were at the World last September, it was so hot......we spent a lot of time on the Peoplemover and the Carousel of Progress. I absolutely love the Peoplemover!

BTW......I love the tees. They are too cute. I would never be able to get my husband to wear them either.......I am lucky that he comes to Disney with us (at times).

What a fun day! I love that your dh had a picture taken with Buzz. That was great! The Hook pic with the twins is awesome, too. I don't think I've ever seen that one! Did you just ask the CM what they could do or are these only available in special spots? I know nothing about 'em!

Space Mountain sounds like it was a lot of fun, too. I understand how you felt about not taking that pic. We don't do many rides with photos, but I'm way too nervous to catch a pic if a CM is there. Dh doesn't care and will do it with them staring right at him! If they mind, they certainly never say anything! Glad you had fun!

Didn't realise how many pages behind I was but caught up at last,

had to laugh at what you call the corniest photo, I looked at it and initially ythought...thats cute...quickly followed by...'in a kind of unusual way' and then read your description and it totally made me laugh out loud!!! but hey you've got so many beautiful photos, its kinda cool to have a corny one like that in the mix!

I love your matching t shirts for the day but I think Brad looks nice just coordinating in a manly manner in blue!

and ps what is with the CM on haunted mansion, so not Disney behaviour! maybe it was a joke and she had a brilliant poker face? or maybe she's scared of ghosts and takes her anger out on innocent HM riders! very weird!

Yay, an update!

The most we saw of this show was walking by it. Maybe one day we’ll take time to stop & watch.

On second thought, nah.

This was one my most fun rides of the week. I was in a car with 2 crazy teenage boys. They informed me that they like to scream like girls during the whole ride & they wanted to go ahead & apoligize ahead of time. They wanted a crazy picture & wanted us all to give our best Gene Simmons impersonation when our picture was being made.

I thought you were going to say that they got you to do this and then they didn't do it, so you were looking crazy all by yourself. Which gives me an idea.....

Our picture was pretty cool. A CM was standing there & I chickened out from taking a picture of the picture with my camera. Now I wish I went ahead & took it.

Oh man! I wanted to see it.

There was another funny picture on the screen of 3 boys with the bottom of their shirts pulled up over their head. It made me wonder if there is a screening of photos, like a 5 second delay, before they post up pictures to make sure there are no wardrobe malfunctions in photos.

I think there is. However, I hear there's a website of some wardrobe malfunctions that got through.

We had no idea that the ride would take so long & Brad kept texting me asking why we were still in there.

I'd have figured that you fell asleep!

But, when I received our Photopass pictures, Lexi, Levi & I had a surprise to look at. Brad had his picture made with Buzz while we were in Carrousel of Progress.

How cool! What a good dad!

As soon as I walked into the main street square, Lexi & Levi came running to me. The only thing they had done while I was gone was ride the railroad. Brad said the kids were too worried that they would not be able to find me & wanted to wait at the entrance for me.

Aw!

They could have just asked a cast member if they saw you....you were the one wearing a shirt with a Mickey Mouse head on it.

I am very jealous of your Captain Hook shots! I wanted to do that but not once did we see any photographer doing this shot. And we never saw a single photographer in adventureland.

Looks like a great day at MK! I can't wait to hear about your Chef Mickey's experience. We always love it there, but we decided to take a break from it on our last trip. We are going back this year!

MK was so uncrowded on that day. The kids love Chef Mickey's. We have a hard time trying new restaurants because they always want to go back to the one's they've been to.

I've only been in the fall, so I have no other season to compare it to, but the crowds have always been great when we've been.

Great castle shots – don’t you just hate the crane getting in the way?!


The crane pics drove me crazy when we 1st received our photopass CD. But, a very sweet Dis'er edited the crane out of my shots. I already had the unedited ones loaded up in Photobucket so I just used the old picture in my post. Thankfully I have the edited ones for our home photo albums.


Lol at riding Space Mountain with the teenaged boys – sounds like you had fun! Will have to remember to try and make some funny faces!

We're going to North Myrtle, I like North better than South Myrtle.
We have a friend that has a very nice house at Edisto & my kids love going there. It's a totally different beach & vacation than from Myrtle.
I hope ya'll have a great time & great weather. I'm ready to hit the Tanger outlets at the beach .

They were taking the Pirate shots outside of POTC ride. I saw the photographer taking the shot with others & we just went over. I had seen the shots on the Dis before. So if you see a photopass photographer near the ride, I'm sure they can do it.
