Disney Vacation Planning DVD?

I tried to order a video mooooonths ago...I've gotten emails saying its on it's way...

what's the hold up?

Has anyone tried to order one and actually get it? Or does Disney just not like me?

I tried ordering it a year ago, and they sent me the Disney Cruise DVD instead. I called and asked them to send the WDW DVD, they said they would, but it never came.

I ordered it and after a couple of weeks it came. (that was maybe a month ago). I didn't learn anything that I didn't know already from reading guidebooks and online, but, it was nice to see some footage of what we would see. Also my husband isn't that much into the planning so for him, it was a nice preview. I don't think you are missing anything but it doesn't hurt to try to order it again.

I ordered one recently and it took almost a month to come. It isn't really useful for me for planning, but my daughter loves to watch it over and over. There are parts she can recite! We already had last year's version, but we got this year's in case they had updated it. My daughter was indignant that it is pretty much the same! Watching it gets her psyched up for our trip, so that's why I like it.

Ironically enough, I just ordered ours yesterday.. While I know its the same thing and not much changes year to year, but I addressed it to our daughter, so she will be excited to get it in the mail (if it comes before our trip in November ) they will be excited to watch it.

According to the owner of our travel agency, guests who order the WDW dvd often receive pin codes to entice them to book a trip. I know folks that this has worked for, and others that it didn't. If you don't make a reservation within so many months after ordering the dvd, maybe that triggers it? It's worth a try b

I am also having difficulties getting the DVD. I ordered and received one about 6 years ago, but it seems Disney is not sending them outside US and Canada anymore. Does anybody know if it would be possible to download an ISO copy of the 2013 DVD? That way we can burn our own copy.

I have seen hundreds of people order the DVD and never get the pin code. Your agency owner is incorrect.

I received mine in about two weeks. My custom maps showed up before the DVD did



However, go on YouTube and watch "ultimate disney world 2013" and you will get just as much info if not more as the planning DVD

I have about 20 Disney VHS and DVDs that I have received for free over the years from Disney.

I have never received a pin code so their reference to often seems inaccurate.

I always order them and it usually takes 2-4weeks to arrive my girls love getting them even though we know everything on it
I have never recieved a pin code ever
