We don't have a package (bc I have an AP and don'e need tickets) so we can only pay over the phone.I have been adding money to our account, but I was planning on using the money for a deposit on a package for 2017 when the rates are released. I am going to be making me reservations online. Did you try to use it online?
Update: Apparently, according to the vacation account help desk, the disney vacation account can not be used for room only reservations.
I have no idea. I tired to point out that the vacation account website specifically says it can be used for hotel-only payments, but I'm just not having any luck. I think its so new people have no idea how it works. I've been on the phone for over an hour and still no progressDid they say when this change was made? They even use their DVAs to renew their APs.

Yes, I have all 16 digits. I've tried twice, but I think I will just call back and try again. It's so frustrating that there is not a memo out or anything to let CMs know how to use these!I used it for room only in November. I didn't mention DVA, just said I was paying with a gift card. Are you sure you are using all the digits? It should be 16 digits.
