Disney UK benefits

I've booked my 2009 disney hotel and ticket direct, and it mentioned I will receive benefits (crazy gold, preffered fireworks viewings etc)

How does this work? Do you have to book the fireworks viewings? Where's the viewing area? Is the free round of golf for everyone or one person?

we have just got back, we booked the epcot illuminations preferred viewing, we were by the marina dock at morocco, it was a good spot, and not very busy, but there is no seating, to book you will get some vouchers with all your tickets etc all you need to do is ring the number on the vouchers with your name etc then take them with you to epcot and hand them over on the night. mk wishes is in an area with a few trees but that did not bother me.

cant help with the golf as we did not bother.

I can confirm that the golf is only for one person,although I might add that isn't what it implies on the booking site but it does tell you that on the voucher!

Can't believe what a waste of time a 1 person voucher for golf is!
I for one won't be paying for the rest of us, so if anyone is going around my dates in august next year (6th-20th) you are most welcome to have my golf voucher!

Great to hear about the fireworks viewing though, I was wondering myself about it... am I right in thinking its an either, or deal? Can you only choose either epcot or MK?

it should be for both epcot and mk, we only used epcot, but we had loads of vouchers left and some were for the preferred fireworks.

Can i just clarify something- when you book through disney UK you get free round of golf for each person who is on the booking. So all 3 members of my family got a little plastic card with a round of crazy golf on it. That might already be obvious but just wanted to check!

Nope it wasn't obvious to me, from what I have read on the boards lately, it sounded like it was just one person who got the round of golf,, if its one per person on the booking that will be great!

Both Eve, and myself, got a free round of golf when we booked through Disney UK earlier in the year

We only got 1 round of mini golf for our party, it came as a voucher with our tickets. For the VIP viewing there is a number you need to call to prebook which night you want, this can be done up to 6 months in advance

We only got 1 round of golf for one person in our party when we went in August. We have in the past had golf vouchers for all persons in the room on previous visits but only the one this time.
