Disney TV at Sears for $29! Better Hurry

Sears has pulled the TV OFF THE web. My Sears is saying it was a web only deal and I will have to wait to pick it up. In the mean time I am working on Circuit City!
 
I just got 2 of the TVs about an hour ago! I ordered one yesterday and thought it had been cancelled because I couldn't find it in the order status. So, just for kicks, I ordered another one this morning. Lo and behold, I got 2 "pick-up" e-mails later this morning. So, I called dh and he picked them up at Sears. They only had one in the back, but pulled the other off the floor. He said he had no problems at all. They didn't even look at the e-mails, so who knows if the cashier actually knew how much they were selling for.

Does anyone have a copy of the ad. My Circuit City said they will honor it but I didn't print it out. Dang it! Did anyone save a copy of this ad? If so could you email it to me please?? :worship: I would love to get one. :goodvibes

I have it on paper and could possibly fax it or try to scan it. It does have my local pick up store on it but no customer name.

I am sure Circuit City is on to the Sears scandal, and are saying they have none in stock even though they really do. The one Circuit City I got to say yes said they only sell the Mickey TV's at Christmas time.
 
You know what would be a really tacky thing to do but Sears deserves it IMHO? If you had to go to another store ,Circuit City,etc. Sears has price matching. Take your receipt from the other store to your local Sears store and then they have to match the price + 10% of the difference!! As I said tacky but Sears would get its just reward.
 
Tacky but who cares. They are messing around w/ my refund now. Have talked to 2 different people and they say that they arent sure about who is handling the refund or when it will be. My order was cancelled immediately, there shouldve never been a hold on my account--which I will add, didnt get put on there till today.

Ok, this is too funny (well for me but not Sears.) I just checked my AMEX account to see what if anything was posted. Sears posted a refund to my account but not a charge. So now not only do I have the TV but Sears just paid me almost $37 :rotfl:

I can't believe the incompetence at Sears around this situation. :sad2:

Where does it say they are supposd to honor the pricing error? I would like to print it out. I have an order that hasn't been cancelled.

I already have my tv, too. So, this got me wondering about my charge. I checked my VISA account, and it turns out that I was never even charged! I have not received a refund, but it looks like I got a free tv. Sears is sooo incompetent!

We are still waiting for our bill, but I think they did the same thing to us. After we had already picked up our TV we received an email saying they canceled our order & have refunded our money. We already have the TV though. We'll see what happens. I'm just afraid that they may turn around & charge the full price. We aren't going to open the TV just yet, in case we need to return it.
 
I just checked sears.com and the price has been fixed, it's over $100 now.

Hope everybody who ordered one gets one.
 
For everyone who hasn't been charged yet - I called my credit card company and spoke with someone and the charges made over the weekend are "pending". Not sure if that has something to do with it being a weekend and today being a holiday. Hopefully you don't get charged, that's what they get for being rude! But do talk to an actual person at your credit card company and see if there are any "pending" charges.

They CAN NOT charge you higher than you agreed to pay for the television. If you already have it in your posession the highest that they can charge you is the $29.97 (plus tax). Make sure that you save any reciept or e-mail that you may have as proof for your credit card company.

I still can't believe that they have bumbled every single step in this whole ordeal.
 
I'm EXTREMELY frustrated by this ordeal. The order I placed last night never came through via e-mail. However, I just got two e-mails regarding that order, one to say the price was wrong, and the other saying my credit card was declined (as I've seen others post). That makes me crazy as I know my credit card was not declined. What's wrong with these people? I placed a second order this morning (before the aforementioned e-mails) and I got a confirmation e-mail on that one. That's all I've received on that one so far. Who has the time to mess with this, but I sure would like to send a flaming letter to them regarding their incompetence regarding this issue!

consider yourself lucky. I have no TV, and I am out $96.00! This is even on my debit card. Sears cancelled my order, after they took my money.... and my local sears will not let anyone have the TV's! I have to wait a week untill I get a refund. That Stinks!!!! (and yes, my bank verified that the money is gone!)
 
I received a phone call in reply to my email I sent about stating my card was denied since that really made me Pissed. I basically told her that was a bold face lie and I do not appreciate such dirty selling tatics. I went on to say you have told quite a few others the same story and we are not buying it. Really nothing came of our 2 minute conversation. it will get you nowhere trying to deal with these people.
I did check my sears card and only one charge went through. the one that says processed and I can pick it up 10/27. the other two are not on there at all... :confused3 Im still waiting for the email that states the store doesnt have it in stock and we cancelled your order. should be here soon enough.. :earboy2:
