Disney Trivia...Let's Play!

Higgs...I believe that Donald Duck made his debut in the Silly Symphony movie "The Wise Little Hen".

CourtasanSatine, I belive that it is David Hyde Pierce. But I will not ask the next question because as per Higgs rules there should only be one question at a time that goes to the person who got the last one correct.

Your pitch Granny:p

Boss...I have to go, so go ahead and toss one out there! :D

Granny and Boss...you got it...it was "The Wise Hen"

And don't worry about having more than one question out there...this game isn't that strict (so CourtasanSatine...don't worry about it :))
But I do want to second David Hyde Pierce as the walking stick in Bug's Life...

Who's got the next question :)

 Hi Guys :p

Satine.... wasn't David Spade the llama too?

Higgs are we allowed to have Happy Hour here? I sure could use a nice refreshment ;)

:p

/
Thanks Satine...

What was the first Walt Disney created film to combine live action and animation?

:p

MBabe would that be the classic .... "Mary Poppins?"

Jen.... no, it is much earlier than that...... maybe I should have pitched a softball... what was I thinking????

I will accept the name of the series, not just the first film in that series <----- That's a hint folks ;)

I'm here everybody!

MBabe-Was that the series of "Alice Comedies"?

 Hi Brownie

You are correct :bounce: The Alice Comedies in 1923.

Brownie, you're up.... next question.....

:p

Pssstttt.....Higgs... Great idea... Thanks for dreaming it up :)

All right....Another WED question coming right up!

What was the first Walt Disney silent cartoon featuring Mickey Mouse?
BONUS: How much did it cost to make?

Brownie....Silent? wouldn't that be Plane Crazy?

:smooth:

MBabe, Plane Crazy is correct! AAQ to you.

But, I expected somebody to get that quickly. The bonus is the hard part (I think.)

I hope you brought your cooler filled with goodies, MBabe. Seeing as how we are not in the CC anymore, we can't just go get a Dole Whip whenever we want! ;)

Bumping this up to the top.:bounce:

We can't be on the second page this early! Come on, guys!

LOL...good to see people are enjoying this...
MBabe...on this thread...it's always Happy Hour!

Anyway...I think we only have one question out there...the bonus from the Plane Crazy question...so I'll guess that it cost $7,000 to make

And to keep things moving...another question
Walt Disney had two apartments in Disneyland...where are they?
And as a bonus...which oneis open to the public?

Higgs.... I know one was above the fire station and I believe that is the one open to the public right now. It the other in the Castle?

Brownie.... $3,000 for Plane Crazy?

:p

OK MBabe...you get partial credit...
There is an apartment above the Fire Station...but that one is not open to the public
The other apartment (which is open to the public) is not in the castle (that was going to be in Cindy's Castle in WDW...but it was never finished)

And now...a third part to this question
In Walt's DL apartment above the fire station...what is visible in the window?
