Disney trinkets from the Dollar Spot?

Today while at Michaels we happened upon some pretty cute Minnie Mouse ink pens that ended up being 40 cents a piece. DD (who is now 14) says "oh I'd would have loved to take that to Disney when I was little" which lead to a conversation about our upcoming trip.

We ended up buying all of them and plan to give them to little girls dressed up while we are there.

Which leads me to this question... have you seen anything similar on clearance elsewhere? Or if you do will you post here? While the $1 is cheap we can get more stuff if we are smart shoppers. We are looking for things for both boys and girls. We have until August to supply arsenal of goodies.

What a nice thing to do. I was at Party City (don't know if they have them in your neck of the woods) and they had many things for 35 cents. You can also go to Oriental Trading Companies web site and find many things that are inexpensive.

I have been Disney themed collecting stickers and temporary tattoos with the intention to cut them from their sheets and hand them out (with parental permission of course!). This is super cheap, because you can get a book of stickers from the dollar section of a lot of stores. Someone mentioned Target, but check out Jo-Ann (fabric store) too, they have Disney stuff.

Another idea I've had is that I've been collecting Disney themed Play Packs (those $1 foil bags with a mini coloring book, crayons, and a sheet of stickers), only to discover my son has no interest in them. I was thinking I could give them away too.

And not Disney-themed, but glow bracelets are another good, cheap option! Dollar Tree and Michael's have them for $1 (15 in a pack I believe).
