I'm looking into insurance for my Nov. trip. I called Disney insurance and got a quote which sounds reasonable but doesn't include air protection since I didn't purchase it through them. I'll have to get separate insurance to cover that part. I'd like to hear how others have done this.
I'm thinking I'll shop around for one that gives me complete coverage. Am I right in using total market value of the trip when asking for quotes? I don't see how I could recoup my vacation points. I assume that Disney insurance will be reimburse the market value of the trip and not give back my vacation points.
So far I've read insuremytrip is a good one. The quote I got from them is very good (about $100). Am I safe to take the lowest quote or does that not give me enough coverage? It's hard to figure out what and how much insurance to get.
I'd love to hear your experiences regarding this. Thanks!
