Disney Transportation

Considering a DVC purchase. I am wondering if Disney has complimentary transportation from MCO for DVC members. If not, perhaps Disney transportation for a fee (and if so, how much)? How about for those renting DVC points?

At the moment, all people holding an on-site resort reservation (DVC or Disney) can get complimentary transportation from MCO to their resort. We are in the second year of that offer, so I do not expect it to be there a lot longer. It was first billed as part of the 50 years of parks celebration, so my expectation is that they may or may not keep it, and they may or may not charge for it in the future. LOL, not a very definitive answer, but about all I have!

As Diane stated, there is no service specifically for DVC members, but Disney's Magical Express is available to all WDW resort guests - including those staying at DVC resorts.

It started in May, 2005 and thus far continues to be a "free" service. The program will extend into 2011(?) but there is no word whether it will continue to be without charge for it's duration.

We have used the service about 6 times now and have enjoyed all it offers.

Is this service included for those renting DVC points? If so, what sort of proof is needed to be allowed on the shuttle?

We have used the service 4 times now with no problems. Hope to contuinue using it and they keep it at no cost.

If you are renting a reservation from a member, the member will need to call MS with your flight information for you to get ME. You call the member, they call MS.

I believe they can also call Disney direct and as long as they have a confirmation number, they can do that themselves on the Disney number....I don't believe MS is needed.

I'm pretty sure that she ment that the renter could call the Disney Magic Express number with the DVC reservations number to arrange ME and not that the renter could call member services.
