Hi, does anyone know if there is a type of 'ready reckoner' table which shows how to get from one Disney Hotel (or resort) to another and whether you have to travel by bus, monorail etc? and also an estimated travelling time too.

I want to start planning some character meals and need some approximate times to allow for travel :)

The unofficial Guide to Walt Disney world has a good section. We always use Disney transportation and if time is critical we allow 1 hour for travel, that includes walking time to bus/boat/monorail, a wait for it to arrive and the walk the other end. Often it is much less than that. You could also use a cab which are reasonably priced

Generally it is diffciult to get directly from one hotel to another without changing, often you will have to go via DTD or a theme park. Some routes on the monorail and bus may go via other hotels first.

However it is really easy to get around and the hotel will always advice on the best route when you are there.

I agree that you should allow plenty of time for travel, in case you have just missed the bus when you get there.....they run approx every 20 mins but usually less :)
