We are going to Disney end of Sept. I've been a couple of times and know it is HOT.

My son will be just shy of 2 years old on the trip, in 2T clothes.

He has a ton of clothes (lucky lots of hand-me-downs). However, he has nothing cool to wear. Everything he has is thick T-shirts or polo type shirts.

I want to get him a few Disney tanks or lighter, breathable shirts.

Where's the best place?

I saw online that Walmart has Disney short - tank sets for like $7. I don't really need an entire set, but will buy it if I have to. I'd like to find just some tanks alone. Any ideas?

My son is 2 1/2. I don't buy him tank tops (not a fan of the style) but I get him light weight ts at target. Just yesterday we got him a new Mater t there! They also had Mickey and toy story ts for toddlers. I know they had tanks, but I didn't look to see what was on them. Just be sure to use lots of extra sunscreen on those little shoulders if you do tanks!

Check your local Babies R Us. I bought my son a ton of 2T Disney outfits on clearance. I paid about 8 bucks for 10-12 outfits (each), and they came with shirt and shorts! One was even a pirate themed bathing suit (top and shorts). Other outfits included Cars and Buzz Lightyear, and I got a Mickey shirt too

Another vote for Babies R Us!:thumbsup2 I only have one DD(2) that I can still shop there for but when my DS was a toddler I found there clearence section and still do find it to be awesome! Like the previous poster said you can get "sets" for like $2 bucks :cool1: When BRU hold a sale or mark their clothing items down you can be sure to get some great deals.:thumbsup2 Also, for the late fall early winter trip planners the Disney stores will usually start marking down those summer items later this month if not already. My local store now has 2 tables of t's already marked down and they will get even lower between now and September. Just an FYI.

We are gap and Disney online shoppers, clothes seem less wear and tear on them. We always look for the the sale on Disney online it helps alot. We shop ahead of time when we know we are going on a trip , sometimes getting next size up!

No advise about where to buy them but I think that Disney clothing runs small. Maybe it's just me, but I usually need to buy at least a size larger to ensure it fits after washing.

Thanks everyone! I'll probably wait another month or so and hit the sales racks at BRU & Walmart. I seem to remember a lot of Disney sets at Walmart.
