Hi everybody! I knew I should have asked this before i first went to Orlando but as im going back i thought i must at least ask :flower3:

Im staying on site at Pop Century in September (although im sure this problem can be considered from any Disney Resort) and none of us are driving. We are fine jumping into the taxis for Seaworld and Universal, but any ideas how best to get to Busch without a car???

I know we could get a taxi to Seaworld then get the shuttle to Busch, but that means us going in the wrong direction in the first place, and a big old round trip!

So pleeeease, any suggestions (or taxi prices) would be greatfully recieved!

You don't have to go all the way to Seaworld to get on the shuttle bus to BG; it can pick you up at Pop.

If you are considering a private car with driver, understand that that will cost about $300 plus gratuity for the round trip. Most of the many car services that operate in Orlando can do the trip if that is the way you wish to go.

Depending on the day of the week, you could probably do it for around $60 if you hired a self-drive car on WDW property, though I understand that that might not be a viable alternative for you.

Thank you very much for the prices, but yeah, as you mention im gonna have to disregard the whole prospect of anyone driving! We're all 24 year old Brits (although Im Connecticut born - makes Passport control sooo much easier at both ends:cool1: ) and when it boils down to it none of us are up to driving US style yet - we'd all get pulled up for speeding after about 10 seconds!

But seriously, great news if it can pick us up from POP! Do you know who we would contact to arrange that???

It says so on the website. Go to the Sea World website, and click on the link for the Busch Shuttle. The top box on the first reservation menu gives a drop-down list of the places the the shuttle will pick up -- there are several WDW hotels on the list, Pop is one of them.

Ive tried that too but once you put in your resort it gives you a list of the nearest available pick up stops! And i dont know where any of them are:confused3

Use Google to search for the name of the stop, then plug it into Google maps with Pop's address as a starting point. That will give you the total mileage.

The nearest one I know of is at the Premium Outlets. That's pretty close and will be a cheaper taxi fare then Sea World!

Ah yes that seems like the best option! And thanks for the link to google maps, not seen that before but its excellent for plotting were all the parks and resorts are!:woohoo:
