Of course it is!!

:goodvibes

I can 100% guarantee that it's not true, even without picking the story apart!

I hate this day of the year, so so pointless :)

:goodvibes

Nothing to do with the story, but I would have liked Disney to have bought the Millennium Dome and done something with that :)

See now I can't tell whether you guys are just joining in with the April Fool :lmao:

Told you I hate this day pirate:

I never believed it was true for a moment, but we can all dream.

Come on the Reds tonight!!!

Allez les rouges!

The idea, in principal, would be a good one, kind of like a Disney version of Center Parcs, maybe Disney will use this joke and start planning one :cool1:

It WAS an April Fools.....oh well it was nice to dream.

It would have been fantastic as the Forest of Arden is 5 minutes from where we live :)

They should the amount we spend over there! We would all have loads more spare cash to spend if we didn't have to pay for Trans Atlantic flights :rotfl2:

I seem to remember that when Disneyland Paris was in the planning stages (back in the days when it was Euro Disney) one of the sites considered was Rainham Marshes in Essex. There were too many negatives for Disney - it would have met with opposition from conservationists, it would have been harder for those in mainland Europe to reach etc - but it would have been amazing for me!

I know, Me too!:) My mum lives opposite the marshes. Now she has the Euro tunnel link at the end of her garden (so it would've been easy for Europeans), but no Disney.:confused3
I like the idea of converting the Dome though. I only live about 15mins away:thumbsup2

In all honesty, I am glad that there is no Disneyland park in this country. The level of customer service we put up with is appalling, and the parks would lose their sense of magic with the average clientele you seem to encounter at Alton Towers etc..
Sorry if that sounds mean (I know there are lots of lovely people and good workers in this country too), but I have had too many days out ruined by unmotivated and rude staff, tracksuit families and ASBO youths :sad1:

tracksuit families

OY, aint nothing wrong with tracksuits :cool1:

On the whole I do find myself agreeing with you tho, I don't think a Disney park here would have the magic of going abroad to one, if you know what I mean.

Although the kind of thing in the (fake) article would be quite good, like I said, a kind of Disney Center Parcs :)
