I won't go into to much detail. As it would give a Nasa scientist a headache. Suffice to say that their is a Disney time dialation effect that affects anyone visiting the Disney parks...

An example of this is the following:

-As time approaches a visit to the park it slows down to a near crawl as the final hours to departure approach.

-Yet, when you arrive at the parks. Time must catch up to make up from the previous slowdown. So a 5 day trip seems like 5 hours. So by the time your return from DW. Your time has returned back to everyone elses. :hyper:

Only 2 1/2 days!!! :wave2:

It hasn't quite slowed down for me yet... probably because I have so much going on with tests and patients at school.
I do understand what you mean about the WDW time going too fast!!!

See you there - only 2 days left!!! (one day and a wake up - for all you military minded people)

miste76,

I noticed we leave almost the exact same time. My clock ends the time my flight leaves. :bounce:

This is so true! Time has been crawling now for the past 2 weeks. I'm starting to stress though. It's Monday and I have till Friday to be totally packed. Have fun everyone!

Perhaps because we've been fortunate enough to do stays of 8 park days the last 3 trips, we've gotten a full dose of Disney each time. As 'Park Commandos', we're at it from Early Entry 'til PI or JellyRolls time. In addition, this time we had to switch from our usual early March trip to Jan. 1 because of the impending birth of a grandchild during 'our' week. It seems to us as though the countdown timer is way ahead of schedule, which for us it is. The only downside to this is that there will be an extra 3 months from the end of this trip until the 2006 one.

And you can double the speed up time effect on my wallet... How does it empty so quickly??? :D

There's also a "Reality Distortion Field" in place around all Disney properties. No matter what your worries are, when you see that "Welcome to Walt Disney World" at the entrance, you feel like a kid again....
