Disney ticket prices, different take?

Agreed. Truthfully, Disney ticket prices are not that much more than many other theme parks. Everything is expensive these days.

Just paid $132.50 plus a $25 "service fee" to see Weird Al next year (in the prime section, nosebleeds were like $50). Day tickets to Disney parks are still insane but so is everything else. The park hoppers in particular make me want to have whatever Disney is smoking.

I agree. I go to a lot of concert tickets and it's not unusual for me to pay $200-$250 for one concert, about 2-4 hours of entertainment.

Entertainment/Professional Sports ticket prices are insane.
Took my son to a San Francisco 49ers game 20 years ago, okay seats, $50 a seat. I just checked, STANDING ROOM ONLY admission is $361 !!!!!!!!!
We stopped going to Spring Training when a San Francisco Giants game ticket hit $60........for a SPLIT SQUAD exhibition game.

So Disneyland, with 49 attractions, doesn't sound so bad at $96 to $155 a day per person.

Compared to sporting events and concerts, Disney really isn't bad. I checked yesterday at the Duke at SMU men's basketball game in January in Dallas. Tickets were $180 BEFORE fees. That's more than a one-day ticket to Disney. That's just nuts. For that price, I'll just watch Duke and SMU on TV.

I agree, I don't think ticket prices are bad. I've mentioned it before on other threads, unless you are outside enjoying nature such as hiking, I can't find anywhere to do stuff all day for the price of a Disney ticket.

All the small attractions add up in cost and most are a one hour experience at $25/pp.

I agree, “everything is stupid expensive”. In line with runaway tipping, I saw a first for me recently. Know how we read left to right, and how sequentially, the pre-populated tip suggestions go left to right (20%, 40%, 60% 😆 )? Saw the pre-populated tips reading highest from the left, lowest to the right. Presumably trying to catch people off guard, as many may now be inclined to “only” tip 18%.

Cf.: the Six Flags that’s about a 20 minute drive from us (a seasonal location) is selling 2025 season passes for $69 per adult. Sure, a far cry from WDW, but still a lot of entertainment for not a lot of money.

Hmm, I’m also “in Buffalo”. Did you see that around here? Something I should be looking for locally?

Yes, this was at Original Pancake House in OP. Only place I’ve seen that approach so far. Brought it up with a friend who mentioned seeing it transposed like that elsewhere, but he didn’t get into particulars.

Thanks! I’m in WS so will watch out for that. Appreciate the info!
