First of all, your daughter is adorable and I really like the idea for your husband's tat with his best time! That's great!

I agree, not loving the chain. I think it does look good on the ankle but I am just a big fan of the foot tat. Not sure I love it right in the middle though. Try drawing it a little off to the side and see how it looks.

I found the picture of when my sister and I first got ours on our feet a year ago...see how's it's off to the side and tilted a little?

Haha, do it! I got the picture from an avatar I saw on these boards! I wanted Mickey but didnt' just want a big black blob in the shape of the three circles. This was perfect. And then my sister convinced me to do it with shading in between the two lines and not solid black. The tat artist even put a little white to make it pop.

This is EXACTLY what I want and I have admired it from time to time since you posted it the first time after you got it! I wish I could work up my darn nerve to just do it, especially before our trip to Disney then our cruise next month!

Thanks! Yes, I practiced drawing mine over and over again for months before I actually got it. Then when I got really serious about it, I printed it out in all different sizes and walked around with it taped to my foot to see the exact position that I wanted it in!

I think a tat that looks like an anklet is a nice idea actually.. I know that Nicole Richie has one that drapes down her ankle a little, if I recall correctly. I think the placement is paramount to getting it to look right, so experiment. I actually saw the hidden mickey someone posted (under their toe), I was really thinking maybe I would do that and mentioned it to the dh and he thought I was Crazy and I got one of these looks
SO, I have not yet made the decision to do a tat yet.....
I love the off center idea shown here and the tattoo looks really good, not the "blob" of black circles, very nice...may steal that idea myself, but just not sure on the placement yet....I'm thinking a more private spot...have to see.

Here's my Sorcerer Mickey.
Had him done 5 years ago.
Not crazy about the "stars" coming out of his hand..... I'm thinking of having that fixed somehow... just not sure how??

Wow!! They're all great (of course...they're Disney!!), but this is definitely one of the best on the thread! Amazing!! Love all the detail, layout and color!
