Disney Tattoos

Thanks! Maybe I should get it done while I can still wear sandals...which in Colorado isn't too much longer. :goodvibes. Will a loose bandaid be ok during work?

Until the scabbing is done I wouldn't put anything over your tattoo. It needs to breathe to heal. I was instructed to leave the initial bandage on for about 2 hours afterwards, then wash and dry it several times a day. I wore open shoes, usually flip flops. If you have to wear more professional shoes I suggest getting it done on a Friday night, then by Monday a pair of flats with nothing going across the top of your foot should be good. Also, I wouldn't wear any hose or anything like it, just wear long pants.

My tattoo artist is the same way, use dove soap and a non scented lotion. That tattoo goo looks interesting though.

The nice thing about the Tattoo Goo was that the tin was small and easy enough to carry that I (as a guy) could carry it around with me all day the next day while in the Magic Kingdom and reapply it as needed to the fresh tattoo.

Maybe Disney should open up a tattoo shop sort of like BBB or Pirates League only for adults. :thumbsup2

HAHA! I Love it! Make it MUCH easier to get my next Disney Tattoo while at Disney. Then all I'd have to worry about it what to get next?

(Still partial to the old EPCOT Center symbol, but I'm not sure I could pull off the "flower" )

where's city walk?

Universal. It's their version of DTD between the Parking Garages and their 2 parks.

OK, tattoo'ing peeps...

This is a question for those of you who've been tattooed while at Disney World...

*Where'd you have it done?*

I'm makin' a quick trip down next weekend (planned YESTERDAY) and while I haven't made my sales goals... I'm kinda feelin' all rebellious and the need to be tattooed again. (i didn't believe them when they said once you started you'll never stop)

I got mine done at one of the places off I-Drive. I don't remember the name, or exactly where, But we remembered seeing a bunch of parlors that looked pretty close together, so we just parked and walked into several parlors getting a feel for the place, the artists, and costs and made a decision.

Throughout the week whenever we saw a local who had a tattoo, whether it would be at a store, restaurant, hotel, park, etc, we would also talk to them about tattoos and if they had any recommendations on where to go. We figured that the locals would have a good idea of who to avoid and who would be good.

Here's my wifes' Snow White and Dopey Tattoo and her Evil Queen Tattoo and my Steamboat Willie tattoo. Love this thread So many great tattoos and ideas!

Not a very good picture but here's my tattoo. It's a cover up and needs more touching up but I love it.

I don't usually post here and I don't usually post my tattoos, but this one is one that's currently a work in progress on my leg. It looks a little stretched by the way I took it with my phone, but the reason I'm sharing is that there will be teacups incorporated in to it from Beauty & the Beast, and other Disney inspired Tea Cups and antique style. I will have my Hidden Mickey placed in there somewhere as well. And there will be flowers coming out of the top of the boot. The boot is inspired by an old porcelain vase my grandmother (and many other grandmas) had sitting around.http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=6648232&l=490434c9e8&id=728605766

Sounds AWESOME!!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks, I meant Beauty & the Beast though, :lmao: and I can't get that pic to post from FB for anything. I don't use my pic posting accounts to even remember the passwords, haha, I should probably just go to bed and start my day over tomorrow.

We knew what ya meant. ;) And I think it's going to be a really beautiful piece when it's finished.

I got my first tattoo for my 32nd birthday this past March. Now designing my next couple. I think I have 4 more in mind.

Anyway, the one I am planning on getting to represent my love of Disney is this:

I am going to have these words: "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow..." arranged in a circle. The "..." is all going to be tiny mickey heads. Then, since the words are going to be in a circle, I am going to have ears added to the top. So, it will be a Mickey head, but the "face" part will be the words. Hard to explain.

Probably going to be the circumfrence of a pop bottle cap. Going to get it on my upper outer thigh like my other tat.

Cannot wait!

I'm surprised, there seem to more Tinkerbell tattoos than Mickey even! Or maybe about the same.

I don't have a tattoo right now (I'm only 21 and don't want to make any "you'll regret that when you're older" decisions yet!) but if I did, I think I'd want something more uncommon! Something like.. Figment, or Maleficent, etc. Heck, I'm surprised barely anyone has Disney princess tattoos! I think I would be open to a Beauty and the Beast tat. It's such a great story, and I think whatever tattoo I choose has to have a meaning. Figment would be great to remind you to think with your IMAGINATION, it's the embodiment of being a kid. Unfortunately, my sister was always the figment-obsessed one. She's probably think I was stealing her "thing".
