I just got this today and knew I had to post it here!!

Her left hand looks weird because its wrapping around my leg and the camera can't get the whole thing at once. She is about 8inches long!

I :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc this!!!! I showed it to DH and said that I would die to have one that looks like this. Amazing!!!

Amazing art, folks. I can't ever see myself getting one done. But if I did, I think I'd have to go with a monorail armband. :thumbsup2

OMG...... love these .....
Now you are all giving me great ideas...
thinking small Mickey heads (maybe balloons??) with my grandsons initials or birth year???

I was told not to use any ointments, instead I used Dove Soap to clean and Dove Lotion to moisturize mine. Every artist has different directions though, just make sure you follow them.

I was told I did not have to use any ointments, but I could use aquaphor or a & d for a couple of days - very lightly and then use a non-scented lotion

Yes it is on the top of the foot. Here is a better picture!
Thanks to all who like it. I am really happy with it also

PS Do you see the Hidden Mickey????????????

Do you have the image you used to give the tattoo artist. I have been trying to come up with an idea for my first tattoo and I love this, it is exactly what I have been wanting. Hope you don't mind if I use it :)

My tattoo artist is the same way, use dove soap and a non scented lotion. That tattoo goo looks interesting though.

I'm new to the thought of tattoos and am wondering. I would like to get one next winter (on my foot), but I'm afraid because of work that I'll need to cover it during the day (business enviornment). Is there a way to safely cover it during the healing process? Now, as I'm typing I realize there has to be, otherwise people would be going to work with no shirts on if they got new tatts! But what do you do?

Mine is on my foot as well. My artist discouraged me from wearing shoes that would cover the tattoo for at least 3-4 weeks. Depending on what shoes you have to wear, this could be doable in the winter as well (pumps with slacks). What I was told is that the pressure from shoes could alter the appearance and affect the healing of your tattoo. Which is why my artist prefers to do foot tatts in the summer when people are able to wear sandals. Remember sneakers fall into the no-no shoe category too. However, you should talk to you artist and let them know what you are thinking, every artist is different and they will have their own advice and rules.

Thanks! Maybe I should get it done while I can still wear sandals...which in Colorado isn't too much longer. :goodvibes. Will a loose bandaid be ok during work?

i don't know what you do but if you can i'd make sure you kick your shoes off while at work as long as possible and wear flip flops or sandles to and from work - that way you're only wearing shoes when you really have to like if you have to go see your boss or something :)

Maybe Disney should open up a tattoo shop sort of like BBB or Pirates League only for adults. :thumbsup2
