Is it important to you that your tattoo matches your brother's exactly? You could get variations on the same tattoo -- he could get a large paw on his shoulder, and you could get a line of small footprints marching across your foot, for instance. Both would have the same meaning, but something small in a more feminine location might be better for you.
). However, I still want to get my other foot tattooed.. so it can't be all THAT bad. 
I have a branch of cherry blossoms on my foot, and I won't lie to you -- it was the most painful thing I've ever experienced (and that's coming from someone with 5 other tattoos, and a history of numerous broken bones and stitches
Just out of curiosity, what does your tattoo say? It's really lovely.
My brother had the great idea yesterday of putting a bear paw on my shoulder (kinda like my grandfathers hand being placed on my shoulder). I like that but i still don't want anything too big.

That is awesome!! I think it would look great and I love the idea that it would be like your grandfather putting his hand on your shoulder. Very nice
And I also never knew that about Dragonflies that they only live for 24 hours. Makes me want a dragonfly tattoo.

the one I got on my foot was more to the side and didn't hurt all that much. How was the pain near the toes?

i had the same problem on the side of my foot! He would hit one spot and my pinky toe jumped!!It was definately uncomfortable but the tattoo artist was quick (thank goodness). There was one spot that he kept hitting that made my toe reflex. He found it quite amusing.
my dd15 gets one at epcot when we go down.( being that her mom and dad both have reg. ones i dont know were she gets it from?) she gets one in her ankle and cant wait till she 18 to get a real one. my mm is on the side of my calf and my dw has a pooh on her ankle holding two baloons, my name is on one baloon and my dd name is on the other.

If you are still undecided try searching on deviantart under bear or bear claw. You are sure to find some amazing pics. That is where I found mine-it's on my lower right side of my back. It's not a Disney but is a fairy who's wings say Believe. Notice the Mickey jammies though!
