When we went to disneyland in feb. my 6 year old granddaughter was sitting in the backseat playing with her little disney toys..and she had her head bowed reading the fine print on the bottom..

I said..what are You doing?

She replied.. I'm seeing where my toys come from.
One after another.. she read.. Disney.. China
Disney...China
Disney...China
Disney...China

She looked up and said... Heyyyyyyyyy How come all my mickey toys come from China?

We took a group of orchestra students to a DC music festival and someone had the not so great idea to go to the inauguration(total chaos, especially w/so many kids) People were selling all kinds of Obama shirts,etc. While in this economy I am glad they were making a living..I just couldn't help but wonder how much of their stuff that proclaimed HOPE and CHANGE even was made here in USA ! I am 36 and I remember when there were commercials to buy US made goods, I wish they would revive a campaign like this. But it is hard, because lots of their stuff is cheaper and its tempting...but w/the $ Disne y charges for a stuffed animal, it does look like they could do better!

As we all know, we need a re-birth of buying only MADE IN AMERICA.

The challenge is finding stuff that IS made here.
