Just because you are paying deluxe prices and others pay to stay at a value resort doesn't make you anymore entitled to better DME or disney service. I expect the same kind of DME service I sometimes stay at a value resort during my disney vacation. The ony diference in the level or resort that you stay are the amenities- you get more if you pay more.
Exactly. The fact that you don't have your DME paperwork yet has NOTHING to do with which resort you're staying in. You could be paying for a suite at the Grand Floridian and you still might have problems with DME paperwork. Sometimes mistakes are made. It's unfortunate, but it happens and everyone should understand that even the CMs make mistakes sometimes. This isn't even that big of a problem. Numerous posters have already told you that it's not a big deal, and plus, for all you know, your paperwork will be in your mailbox tomorrow and all of this will be for naught.
Honestly, your expectations are already off the charts if you're this upset about
the bus that transports you from the airport to the resort. You're acting like you're entire trip has been ruined already. I can't imagine what kind of heck you'll raise if a ride breaks down or something. All I have to say is, God help the poor CMs who are going to have to put up with you all week.
I, like other posters, also feel badly for your little boy. Instead of focusing on just spending time with him and sharing some magic, it sounds like you're entirely focused on your bottom line and how much you're spending on this and that and how it's not what
you want to be spending your money on. You'll be so focused on whether or not Disney gave you your "money's worth," looking left and right for little problems for you to blow out of proportion, that you won't even have time to notice the enchanted look on his face the first time he catches a glimpse of Mickey or the castle.
I say either get your priorities straight or don't even bother going. You're just going to have a miserable time and your son
will pick up on that. Trust me, I was that kid once upon a time, and no child deserves to feel like that.
