Maxsdad18, I have a prediction....you WILL have a rotten time. I feel sorry for your dear little boy. It will break his heart.

If this is a serious thread, dude, cancel, cut your losses and go somewhere else. Not only will you not have a good time but it your constant sarcasm while there will ruin other guests vacation. Sorry, you're no longer venting, just being obnoxious. If Disney's not what you're looking for, don't go. If it's a joke, then the laughs on us.

Let me start off by saying I am not a big fan of Disney, I have never been to Disney, but decided to take my 4y/o son there for his birthday. I am looking forward to the trip and so is my son.

I have a busy work schedule so tring to find time to do everythig it takes to plan this trip is hard. When I made the resevation, they told me they would be sending me a packet with the magical express info. As of today, no packet. I called and they said it may be too late to resend it but I could still use the service and they gave me a list of things I needed to do, go here, do that ect. I asked them if they could overnite it to me and they said no. *** is up with that! I am speding 2K + for four nights and they can't overnite something they are responsible to do?

I have a feeling I should have stayed with my instincts and told my son that Disney was on the island of St John.

I have different advise for you than the rest of the people on this thread; although their advise has been pretty good. DON'T GO!! You are already looking for things to be upset about, so don't go. The first time a bus wait is longer than 20 minutes will you be upset? The first time the lines for rides climb to an unacceptable length in the afternoon will you be upset? The first time you aren't able to find a place to sit and eat out of the heat because you don't have a reservation that night will you be upset?

If the answer to these questions is yes - then don't go. From your posts it sounds like you are setting yourself up for a miserable trip full of disappointments. Why would you want to take that kind of a trip? Disney is great. The magic is all around. But it is still a theme park complex that serves thousands and thousands of people per day. You have to overlook some of the small stuff to really enjoy the magic. If you can't, then the magic could be ruined for you.

If you're really clever, you could tie a gaudy ribbon to your luggage (something many people do anyway, to help themselves recognize their own luggage). Bring a small piece of it and give it to the DME people to help them more quickly identify your bags.

Heck why not just take some bright yellow construction paper cut it the width of a airline luggage tag. Put a big Mickey Head on it (what ever color the MK area is anyone know?) Put you name resort check in and check out date and Voila.... you have you ME tag.

Or better yet do what Disney told you to do and all will be happy.

By the way, I see no mention of the 4 year old's mother. It makes me wonder if she, too, omitted some paperwork and was summarily dismissed, as well ....

Caracap - If I get the smelly room, I swear to you, I will be staying in that castle room for the entire stay. These people have no idea who they are dealing with when it comes to smelly rooms. Once I was in Paris on busines and I got a smelly room. After 1 minute on the phone with the hotel manager, I had this penthosue presidential suit. I dare Disney to give me the smelly room!

All I have to say if you go to a CM with the attitude that "I don't like such and such and you owe me better because if you don't I'm gonna rant and rave until you do" then you will be very unhappy at Disney. When there is a legitimate problem, Disney will bend over backwards to fix it. But if you go at the CM's with the nasty attitude you are portraying here you will be dismissed.

And to say your son will still have fun if you are fussing and yelling about every little thing, you sure don't know much about kids. Even 4 year olds pick up on the littlest things.

I suggest if you have the attitude that "I will hate it" before you even leave you cancel Disney and go elsewhere that you know you will be happy.

Now having said all that...when I first read this post then checked the post count.....I smelled a Troll! Hmmmm I think we need a troll smiley so we can just respond with it in our post :)

I won't post the rest of my comments as the OP isn't worth the points I'd get, but I think many here think the same as Strwlady at this point...

Thank you everyone for your helpful replies to the OP. It seems he has his mind made up and before this thread slips any further I am going to close this thread.
