Not sure if this is the right place to post but just saw Disney released a bunch of Disney Stores that will be closing by September 15  The Disney Store in Burlington MA and the outlet in Merrimack NH are on the list.I'm not sure where the closest store will be for me now. Have they started their sales yet? Anyone found any good deals. This is really sad to me. At least when I walked into the stores I felt a little piece of Disney that made me miss Disney. Now with that connection not around and the new changes that they just made at the parks I will be less likely to plan trips.

Wow…I live pretty much directly between these two stores…I’m sad and surprised they are closing before Christmas!!
End of an era!!

I never really bought anything for the Disney store. It was so much better in the 90's. Our Disney Store closed a long time ago, never reopened from the beginning of Covid. They still had Easter decorations in the store when they announced it would be closing...months later. I do feel bad for those who worked there though.

There's still the outlet in Wrentham.

Edit: I just saw the whole list and Wrentham is listed as closing on 9/15 too. 😭 I think I might have to make a trip up there just to say goodbye.

I just read today the one closest to us at the woodbury commons outlet is closing 😔

The one in our mall has been closed at least 5 years. We used to buy a lot of clothes for our oldest son when he was little from about 5 to ten years old. Not long after that it just seemed like every time we went in there the vast majority of stuff was for girls so we stopped going.

They should be offering 20% off, it takes a while to go higher. Depends on inventory levels in each particular store. The adult and home type stuff mostly sells out at 20.

My store closed in March.

took both my grand daughters to this store for years when they were little. They still like to go and are 15 and 10.

I haven't been in our Disney store here in at least a decade. Not sure if it is because my kids are grown, but my perception is they no longer stock items I want to buy.

My son is 20 months old and the first time we bought him into the store, his eyes just lit up. It was a little taste of Disney for him during the early part of the pandemic since we couldn't go down to FL. I'm definitely going to miss taking him there.

I saw a CNBC article yesterday that said Disney was adding more than 100 "Disney shops" inside of Target stores. It was a short article and din't give locations.

I actually called the closest one to me in CT. They said the latest that store would close would be 9/15 and right now it was 20% off.

They announced all stores in Chicago area are closing soon. There is one in an mall near us that has Disney Parks clearance that I love. We always pick up cheap pins for the kids to take to the parks and trade;(

I was in Merrimack this past weekend. No sign that it was closing and nothing was discounted.

These are the closest Disney stores to me here in southern Maine.
:(

Gurnee Mills ( Gurnee, IL) mall store closing also. It's sad. The manager and employees have been there for years.
