Disney Store Sale

Just done my shop. Totalled a little under $150 after all discounts applied. Got the kids some awesome jackets. Totally thankful to my American friend who shops there all the time and told me that the female t-shirts and 'female cut' and run small and she has to order several sizes up, so I bought one as a sample to see how we go and bought a DCL watch instead as I know the watch will fit right?! The kids are banned from the shops inside Disneyland henceforth... we are done.

Are you guys at HoJo's too Minnie Sue Oz? That is so cool, we are booked there and I keep thinking about changing to somewhere a little more flash but then think of all the shopping I can do with that cash!

So did they reply? Thinking I might call them and see if it's too early as the kids and the big kid want to order their Halloween costumes too

Is anyone having problems trying to check out on the Disneystore, its driving me insane

So I just rang HoJo's and spoke to the very friendly sounding Matt, and he said depends on how big the packages are, explained that it was the costumes for Halloween and he said that would be fine but I guess its too early to go to overboard but atleast we can get the costumes there.

I am concerned that they may be quite big anyway as my guys are going crazy and apparently we will have a Batman ($400 worth ) Ironman and a suit of armour!

Okay...I'm confused I just rang Paradise Pier and spoke to a guy (already forgotten his name oops) and he didn't understand what I was asking in terms of getting packages shipped to the hotel? He was saying that they only do it for when your checked in as a guest because they don't have the storage space?

He said call back on Monday LA time to ask some other department but by then the sale is over anyway lol

Plus he had no record of our booking either...seriously? We booked and paid in FULL with our TA in May so why wouldn't it be on their system I don't think I'll be using an Australia TA again to book a trip So at least when I ring hotels to discuss my bookings they will EXIST in their systems!!! That's the second hotel that this has happened with

Think I may just have to wait for the next sale

I'll give them a ring back tomorrow, might have better luck if I call during the day/early afternoon LA time.

Even if they do accept the package three months out, our reservation may not even be on the system fingers crossed it is there!

Might even call Hojo's about it & check if they have our reservation and see if 3 1/2 months out is reasonable to them lol

Hi all!

I am happy to say I have received an email reply from a very nice lady at Ho Jo called Jessica and she informs me it will be no problem to have parcels delivered as long as the name on the deliveries matches the reservation name exactly!
My order won't be overly big as I have ordered some items,but, $400.00 worth of gift cards for the DD!!!
I thought the gift cards were a great idea got some last trip when we arrived! ) so used some of the money I had been saving to give her to pay for them. I got her favourite things on the cards too..........one with Minnie, one with the fab 5 in Halloween costumes, one with Alice in Wonderland a her fave, a Lion King one.
The gift cards can't be shipped to Australia, so I was very thankful of this offer as I would have just have given her the cash which is just not the same!

Ahhh, shopping!!!!!

Just spoke to a wonderful guy called Matt at Hojo's who found our reservation and said now its on the system they can collect packages for us YAY!

Considered ringing PP again because we do check in there first but pfft if Hojo will accept it, I think I'll be able to wait an extra week to collect it 88 sleeps!

HoJo's are so helpful

I am hoping that they continue to be as I just read on trip advisor, the Gen Manager replying to a not so glowing review that they are redoing 94 rooms over this Summer so I'm assuming they will be ready for our trip, so am planning on ringing to beg for one of those rooms!

I keep getting an uneasy feeling about the rooms but their customer service is so great that this would be totally PERFECT.

On a sadder note I still can't finish checkout on Disney Store, not sure what the go is.

I'm having a bit of trouble too - but I want to order a couple of gift cards and can't seem to get past the "select" page!! I'm guessing it's bus because of the discounts!!
Re HoJo's - I've never stayed there either, but I'm going with an open mind - it can't get such glowing reports without them doing something right!!
I have stayed in much worse hotels, I'm sure, in much worse places! My mantra with hotels is "as long as it's clean and safe, I'm happy - anything else is a bonus"!! Especially if the rate is good - and I have been lucky at HoJo's!

DD wants to dress up as The Brave girl so I want to order it now so I can make sure it fits her but it won't let me get past looking at the cart.....just going to have to ring but miss big ears will listen and it has some Christmas stuff on the order

We managed the HoJo's entertainment book rate so really happy with that but still scared as I am a bit of a clean freak! So hope with all I have that we can get the new refurbished room......I think I would even forgo the awesome discount for a new room

Just thought I would share with you that we spent 21 ( yes 21!!! ) nights at the Ho Jo and we couldn't have been happier Great service, friendly staff and I had no problems with the cleanliness and I am a bit on the fussy side when it comes to that too! I was so happy in fact that we will be spending 16 nights there again in October! The new rooms do sound good though so lets hope we get lucky

Another question, have now decided i will just get her dress up delivered to HoJo's but i didnt ask them if I just use the website address or do they have a postal addy??

Minnie Sue Oz, I forgot to ask what sort of room you stayed in......I think the premium we have booked are good but I am guessing that the bad reviews on Trip Advisor may be for the cheaper rooms?

I was worried that 15 days in Anaheim may be too much but if you did 21 then I am sure we will be fine
