I understand that the Disney Store sells PH tix.(4day or 5day?)

Are they "credit card" style? :confused3

Also, are they the discounted advance price or park/resort price?

Are they active as soon as you get them?

It seems they would be a bit easier to keep hold of if they were the hard plastic type. Otherwise I may opt for the UPH at the resort.

Yes, the Disney Stores sell the 4 and 5 day hopper and hopper plus passes at the advanced purchase discount. They do have a magnetic strip on the back like a credit card and are made of a flexible plastic (not quite as firm as a regular credit card, but fairly sturdy). These are not vouchers, but are the actual tickets you can use for any of the parks. As far as I know, these passes do not expire and unused days can be used for another trip.

Hope that helps!

The TDS park tickets come in 4 and 5 day hoppers, and 5, 6 and 7 day hopper pluses.

They are Hard Plastic

They are discounted compaired to buying them at the gate. Check out this website http://allearsnet.com/pl/ticketchart.htm which gives you the advance Purchase price w/tax.

They aer Active as soon as you walk away from the counter.

Also you got an awesome Claim receipt which you can use if you end up loseing your ticket, it has all the information on it that guest relations needs to reissue your ticket to you.... also there is a special 1-800 number you can use to make hotel and PS without having to call long distance.

YES (last I checked), but no shipping cost and having to wait for them in the mail:D

Yes. And you don't have to worry about it getting lost in the mail.

I will head down to the DS tonight!

Thanks for all the info!

If you buy them in New Hampshire, you don't have to pay sales tax. ;) I'm not sure where in New England you're from...

Disney Park tickets get charged Florida state Sales tax (6.5%) no matter where you buy them (and as far as I know which is true here in New York state, the state where you buy them do not add tax)

Yes, Park Hopper tickets purchased in any Disney Store are charged Florida sales tax regardless of what state they are purchased in.
