Disney Store Openings

As I watch watching the amazing video of the new DS grand opening in CA (go figure). Like the stores in FL why do they need them as they are so close to the magic. I was mourning the loss of our beloved DS in the Walden Galleria in WNY. So I inquired on any future plans to bring the DS back to our area on the Disney site on facebook. The did email me back not once, but twice first to state no plans for DS in our area.

Second to again confirm no plans, but, see response below:

"Thank you for expressing your interest, Ann. At this time, there are no plans for a new store at that location; however there are plans for a new store at Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York. This store is slated to open sometime this year."

I mean what the heck, do they think we can just hop in the car and drive across the state??? I mean yeah for RI, but again no DS for us.

They closed the one my us here in Michigan too.. We do have one in Michigan but its about an hours drive.. We miss our local DS bad too! Boo HOo Ill cry with you!
