Disney Store in Fort Lauderdale

I have checked through the discussion board post and I am not able to find it but I thought I remembered reading that there is an outlet Disney Store near the port in Fort Lauderdale , is this true and where is it located or is there an outlet mall near the port ? I am flying into Fort Lauderdale soon and will have a couple of days before and after our cruise and I was hoping to check it out as long as its easy to get there by Uber or Taxi.

It’s at the outlet mall in Sawgrass Mills. I went in December and they had a lot of good discounts on merch.

It’s a Disney Character Warehouse, located at Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise near the Panthers’ arena. It’s operated by Disney Parks and not the Disney Store…

Yes, its close to the cruise terminal and it is possible to rideshare there if you should choose to stay close to the ship.

Do you remember how far it was from the port?

It’s about 20 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale if the traffic is good. I just went shopping there yesterday. If you choose to go there have your uber drop you off by the small mall entrance by Neiman Marcus last call as it’s the closest entrance. The mall is huge and the Character warehouse is at the far end of one of the wings. Primemark is also there and has a ton of nice Disney stuff too but it’s at the opposite end of where the Disney store is. If you need to bring your luggage with you no one will bat an eye. I see luggage being wheeled around all the time there. I also saw guy with a goat on a leash wearing a diaper and Louis Vuitton pattered shirt so it’s definitely an adventure
