Disney Springs timeline?

Does anyone know the rough timeline for the planned completion of the various major areas of Disney Springs? I understand that the project as a whole is expected to be finished "in 2016,“ but what about the individual "neighborhoods," and when in 2016 should it all be done? I also wonder when in 2017 Avatarland is supposed to be done. Thank you very much for any insider info you have! Helps with trip planning.

Is there at least a general sense of when the construction will end the traffic nightmare? We were planning to stay at a DTD hotel for our first night before moving to a resort, but it sounds like the entire area is to be avoided at all costs. Will that be true until the end of construction in 2016, or is it likely to become tolerable at some point?

Count on them taking a long, long time.......this is after all Disney that we are talking about remember

Is parking still a mess? I prefer using my rental car when going to DTD.

Parking is better now that the parking garage is open, but it's my understanding the roadways are still a mess with them building the connection to the highway.

Isn't phase 1 scheduled to open fairly soon?

The causeway is open and very nice at Downtown - relieves a lot of congestion for walkers - was there yesterday. More construction in 'all' the parks than we have ever seen - they need refurbishing - but still very frustrating that they planned it all for one period of time.
