Thinking about our Fall Disney trip, and this time we're going to Disney Springs for dinner on arrival day. We've done a ton of table service dining at the Parks and Resorts, but have never been to Disney Springs, so looking forward to trying something new.

My husband and I enjoy EVERY type of food and like trying new things - I guess we're kind of foodies? We'll be with 3 kids, however - 14, 10, & 5. The two older kids are unpredictable on how adventurous they are with food. Sometimes they are great about trying something new (14 year old this year has gotten into Sushi - fun, but our sushi order just got more expensive - LOL), and sometimes they'd prefer more familiar foods. The 5 year old is definitely NOT adventurous, but I worry less about that because most places have something on a kids menu for her.

What is your recommendation for a table service restaurant that will make everyone happy?

I'm interested in The Boathouse. Raglan Road atmosphere sounds like fun, but not sure I'd be excited about the food choices. Would love Morimoto or Wine Bar George, but I'm assuming that would probably be a better choice if it was just my husband and I without this kids. I'm sure the kids would like T Rex but then Mom & Dad would be giving up better food choices.

Lots of great options.
Homecomin' has been very popular. Not an adventurous menu, but done well.
Raglan Road is a lot of fun.
Morimoto may not have much for your kids.
Your best option is to sit down with your kids, look at the menus to see what places have something everyone will eat.

We do TRex every time for the kids we then pick another day with a restaurant (usually in a park) that is more for the adults. I know that's going to be the unpopular opinion here but its what we do :)

Raglan Road is one of our favs. Depending on what your kids are into, the live entertainment could be really great. We've found they have enough variety on their menu to please any friends or family we've brought along. Irish/British food also isn't too far out there if the kids are feeling a little more adventurous.

BOATHOUSE! We loved it! We sat outside and the weather was beautiful! We has the lobster bisque, which was yummy, then we shared a few things like fish tacos, mac and cheese and sliders. Everything was super delicious!

So many choices,

The Boathouse,
Homecoming
Morimoto
Paddlefish
Polite Pig
Splitsville
City Works
& more :)

Tough to choose one :)

Marie snd enzos has good Italian.

the boathouse is excellent.

there is a lot of variety at raglan road. Ask for the main room. You will have to wait longer but it’s worth it to see the dancers snd the band.

Frontera cucina has decent Mexican

I love Morimoto but it helps to love suchi

The wine bar has small bites and lots of cheese snd olives. The wine sampler is excellent. But not kid friendly.

STk has good steak but is any steak really worth $75? Or a predinner salad for $20. or Drinks for a minimum of at least $15. Crazy expensive. Once for me was enough after a $200 plus bill for 3 people 2 of which didn’t eat steak.

Wine Bar George is always our #1 pick. By far the best food consistently along with excellent service. Boathouse is good food, not consistently and service can be spotty. And there is nothing special or innovative about the menu, it's not something you can't get in most people's home towns, Raglan Road is ok but nothing to write home about, but it's a fun atmosphere and outshines the food. Have not had Morimoto so no feedback there. T Rex is fun but the food is a far cry from anything special.

We eat at Wine Bar George with our kids (14/12) and they love it and one is into sushi but they both pretty much eats like typical kids; hot dogs, chicken nuggets, lots of junk and THEY LOVE IT. When we talk about WBG we all say our mouth's are watering LOL!

Last visit we did the pork pluma, the mac and cheese bites and a chimi-churri skirt steak, we all loved everything. We also love their steak fries-AMAZING!! My younger daughter also ordered the kids chicken tenders and she really liked that too. It's a nice relaxing meal all served in stages so all meant to share. It's great and I cannot say enough good things about it.

If you need a compromise, do the cheesy restaurant and the better one if you spend the full day or do a kid pick restaurant and just get something for you guys from the Basket (WBG grab and go window) and sit outside and enjoy it. No commitment from the whole family. BTW we are not wine drinkers and that initially discouraged us from ever thinking we'd like it but after so many amazing reviews, I said we had to try it and I am so glad we did.

Homecomin' or Boathouse. Hands down, winners every time. I do enjoy Raglan Road, my youngest does have sensory processing disorder so we don't go there with her, but your miles may vary, but both of my kids loathe T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe (well, any Landrys restaurant, they don't like the food). We try to do something different every trip, so this trip we're going back to Homecomin' and I'm soooooo excited, whenever we mention going back my kids practically start drooling thinking about it.

Boathouse was outstanding. We love Ragland Road. We want to try Homecomin' next time.

Kids want TREX but not a fan of Rainforest Cafe so kind of worried it might be like that. We love Landry's restaurants for the most part but don't care for Rainforest, Bubba Gump, Cadillac Bar, and Joes Crab Shack so kind of worried TREX will be like those places. Maybe I am wrong.

Homecoming. Our son enjoyed his beef at Jaleo; he's very picky. Also The Edison. I know everyone raves about Boathouse, but our meal was just mediocre. Plus, it was a really cold day in March; they put us outside with no heaters in the evening. That might have tainted it some, because I was shaking too much to enjoy my food.

We're going to be staying at SSR and OKW in Oct and plan on eating more than usual at DS. So we've been watching DS dining reviews on youtube lately. Helping us narrow down our choices.

Question for all: Can you *just* go to Raglan Road for dessert? I've heard good things about the bread pudding.

Yes. You can go there just for drinks.

You can, but I'd suggest making a reservation. We tried to walk up just for drinks at the bar back in October and even the bar seats were on a waitlist, and the wait was over an hour.

OP - my votes for a mix between good fare with items that appeal to all would be Homecomin, City Works, and Wolfgang Puck. None of these have particularly interesting atmospheres for kids like T-Rex would, but the food is consistently good and there's things picky eaters would still like.
