It looks like my next trip is finally in the works. I have an itinerary mapped out in my head (well really on a Google doc) and am now thinking about ADRs.

What would you recommend for an arrival day meal in Disney Springs for 2 adults? Neither of us are picky eaters and would be open to either a QS or TS meal.

Thanks!

Might I suggest you look and see what restaurants there at DS with check their menus and then give us a list? Mainly because peoples' tastes in restaurants vary widely and it's tough to recommend something.

Given that I would skip Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood, T-Rex since they are just glorified chain restaurants. (I'm sure that someone is going to disagree with my list, proving my point made above.) Morimotos opened with good reviews but the latest ones are slamming for increased prices (up 30%+), mediocre food, and very expensive drinks. We'll probably skip it this fall unless I see better reviews.

For QS I like to go to Wolfgang Puck Express or Earl of Sandwich. There are 2 locations of Wolfgang Puck Express and I like them both, with maybe a slight edge to the Marketplace location. I like using this site to look at the menus of the different restaurants to help decide - https://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/disney-springs

I would recommend these as well. Especially Wolfgang Puck's.

According to your signature, it states next year, right? If so, there will be new additions to Disney Springs by then. At this time, Raglan Road would be my choice, but once the others open, I'd be looking at Art Smith's Homecoming restaurant.

Yes, in early March. I hadn't even thought about any of the new restaurants. It's a good thing my 180 day date isn't until September. Raglan Road and Earl of Sandwich were already on my radar, but didn't know if there was some hidden gem out there I hadn't heard about.

Yeah, the new Mexican place may be open by then as well. I love real Mexican food and the places in Epcot aren't it.

Earl of Sandwich is a very good spot for a QS meal. One of our favourites. Eat there at least 4 or 5 times a month.

The Boathouse is very good, though can get pricey for some people's tastes. With Fulton's now down for their refirb, this is our g to for seafood now in Disney Springs. It has a cool atmosphere, especially out on the pier where there is a bar (and seating area) out on the water. Very cool spot to dine.

Raglan Road is a lot of fun and has some good dishes as well. They usually have a "Pie of the day" which is usually my go to dish when we dine here. It of course can get loud as it is an Irish Pub, so there is that to consider. Inside and outside dining as well.

Morimoto is a great restaurant and we love sitting upstairs at the sushi bar when we dine here. It also can get pricey quickly depending on your taste and what you are ordering. However, the food here is very good. The restaurant itself is very pretty and has a lot of views.

Rainforest Cafe is an ok spot to eat, though it is more a niche spot than a "must" dine for us. I like the Safari Soup and the beef sampler platter. It has Korean ribs, pulled pork, etc. which is pretty darn good. Ate that the last few times we ate there.

Here is a list of my favourite spots right now that are open in Disney Springs

1. The Boathouse
2. Earl of Sandwich
3. Morimoto Asia
4. Raglan Road
5. Rainforest Cafe

Raglan or Boathouse would be my 2 choices.

If we were doing it again we would go to Raglan. We ate the The Boathouse in March - loved the outdoor seating but we all though the food was very average and very, very expensive for what we ate. Also - it was a VERY long wait for our table (we had a bigger group) and the music outside at Raglan was AWESOME!!!! We hung out there and enjoyed pre-dinner drinks until our table was ready and more than once wished we had signed in there instead.

We are trying Raglan this time in place of WPE. We have never had anything that wasn't really good at WPE but we are only there 7 nights this trip and wanted to try some new things.

I really like Crossroads @ House of Blues. I've never had a bad meal there. I don't know why reservations never show up in MDE, however.

Raglan Road is fantastic! Great menu, and the food is so delicious!

For QS, Wolfgang Puck Express is really great. The food is so good and it is hard to believe that it is QS, with that quality of food. We love it there for a nice, but quick meal.

We really enjoy Raglan Road as well. The food is really good and the music and dancing at dinner (possibly also lunch on weekends) is lots of fun.

I echo Earl of Sandwich. We also ate at Bongo's to try something different and enjoyed the food there. You might also check out the menus of the restaurants that you are considering online to see if what they serve is to your liking.

THE Boathouse
Fulton's if it opens back up in November
Morimoto
STK if it opens will be phenomenal
Raglan Road
