Disney Snow Globes

Anyone collect Disney Snow Globes? I used to and stopped buying them for awhile as my kids (all 3) have had their fair share of busting them to a million pieces. *sigh*

I have noticed, while they lasted, that there was this annoying air bubble that happend upon the top of the globe and grew a little bit bigger as time progressed. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it common for snow globes?

Disney snow globes are the only snow globes I have ever had so I'm unsure if this is common or not.

Yup they all do this, no matter who makes them. The water evaporates.

Yeah, we used to collect them. Then inevitably the bubble would appear & while the non-globe parts are very nice, it's hard to ignore the bubble. So we've shifted away from them.

We have been collecting for years and mine are not evaporating! Now I am wondering why?! Do you think it may have to do with where you live? I have to wonder.

I wouldn't think it would matter where you live. Evaporation is a universal thing, not relegated to certain locales. Consider yourself lucky.
