I have no problem using the Skyliner. But this makes me nervous heading into our trip. I hope they have ample buses running for early ADRs. And I hope they are nimble at ramping up when the line is down. And I'm still not sure when it will be running in relation to park open, if it's early enough for my taste.REPORT

I have no problem using Uber but some have reported availability problems around park open. As I said, it all just makes me uneasy. We only have 1 rope drop morning in DHS. Thankfully it's still a week away so I hope others will report how it's going this week.
I'll probably check the app for bus availability on the way to the bus stop. If it's too backed up, I'll check Uber, but be ready to bail and take a Taxi.We aren't going until next month but am similarly curious and was already debating how we would get to DHS ... We will have a car so I think we will just drive rather than risking it
I’d definitely drive to HS for rope drop if you have that option. We aren't going until next month but am similarly curious and was already debating how we would get to DHS ... We will have a car so I think we will just drive rather than risking it

And so it begins.
Disney is WAAAYYY premature on this. The Skyliner needs to improve its reliability before that reduce bus hours. I work for major media company as well so I know how this went down. Some PM pushed this through because it was on their GANT chart even though its clearly to early.
And has it? How about CBR and AoA? Everyone keeps mentioning only Pop.The Riveria owners might be suffering buyer’s remorse soon if this sign shows up at that resort.
Would they? I think Riviera owners being that they are buying for a long term might not care. The resort is heavily marketed as the way to HS and Epcot is via the Skyliner. They only mention the buses to MK and AK freely during the sales pitches (the marketing material don’t mention Epcot and HS buses really again just pushes the Skyliner). So in short I think many Riviera owners are buying thinking the Skyliner is the option or are buying wanting to use the Skyliner (really no different than the monorail resorts that lack buses completely and the monorail is much slower to two parks for them). The Riveria owners might be suffering buyer’s remorse soon if this sign shows up at that resort.

But yes. It would be interesting to see them try this at Riviera.
And the friendship boat option is nice, too.Walking to 2 parks from the original Epcot resorts is looking better and better.
