What is the latest with double strollers?

Last I heard all double strollers needed to be folded. Can anyone who has been to Disney in the past month or so confirm/deny this?

Thanks!

Pretty sure I saw a sign at the CBR station along the lines of « all large/double strollers are to be folded » 2 days ago. Saw several families with double strollers boarding over 3 days. All folded the stroller.

I know the topic of how it is handled for the accessible cabins to shift to the dedicated area has been a big discussion topic on here since the start really

Saw this video today and starting at the 5:35 mark he gets on the Skyliner at Riviera and they put him in an accessible cabin and then he shows, when it gets to the CBR station how the doors to his cabin don't open right away and then it travels to the back loop

Nothing Earth shattering but thought some people might be interested in seeing it (prior to this he covers a stop at Bar Riva at the Riviera if anyone is interested in seeing that)

Inconsistent. We utilized them on 12/12 around 10am from Pop over to DHS and on both legs were not asked to fold it. Now, we have a Joovy Caboose, Ultralight (sit and stand, not side-by-side) and it was not at all crowded so that may have been why we were allowed to just steer it on, but I think it's probably based on crowd level more than anything.

I don't believe that style is the kind that requires folding. The challenge with the majority of the double strollers is that they are side-by-side style and it's the width of them that is the problem. My understanding is that any side-by-side double strollers have to be folded.

I know I'm being petty, but I hope not all the "pull-off" cars are yellow!

So first, it always comes down to the CMs discretion and what they determine is most appropriate at that time, etc.

That said, in general, the side-by-side double strollers *always* have to be folded up. The ones with one infront of the other generally are able to go on unfolded but sometimes they do ask you to fold them up.

What time does Skyliner start running with these 7am DHS openings?
Earlier this week, with the 6am openings, the Skyliner wasn't running until after 7am. If you are at a Skyliner resort, your best bet is to walk if at Boardwalk, Yacht or Beach Club or Swan/Dolphin or take one of the Disney buses, Uber/Lyft or drive yourself if you want to be at DHS by the time they open the gates. With 6am opening, we got there around 5:15 and the the gates were opened at 5:30. Then at 6am, the Virtual Boarding group was active on MDE. The 7am opening will work very similarly.

I wouldn't mind it when going back to the resort to catch Magical Express. What a great excuse for not being able to go home on time.
Caution: If you miss your Magical Express bus back to the airport then the world will come crashing down on you.

Shoot to be back at your resort an hour before you need to catch your DME bus time back to the airport.

I always do. But if I was on a gondola for that 3 hour stoppage and missed DME and had to stay another night I wouldn't have been sad.

Yeah, that would have been Disney's fault, and Disney's responsibility to get you home.

And your fault for boarding the Skyliner so close to your DME departure ;)

I rode the Skyliner the past few days and when it’s working, the Skyliner is great. I’m staying at Pop for this trip and getting to HS is a breeze. It’s quick and smooth. Yesterday was pretty breezy. The Skyliner, while moving, handled it well.

On Thursday, I took the line to the Riviera from CBR. The line stopped for a few minuets and I swayed in the wind. Even it was only for a few minutes, it was not pleasant.

I noticed a number to call for Skyliner guest services on a sticker in the gondola. Is this new? 462667

The Guest Services number was added in the past couple of weeks. It was discussed further up the thread.

Stoppages happen. I don’t think Disney would be responsible to get you home.
