Yes, I saw that. I was wondering if it was truly embroidered or if it was a patch. Disney seems to be using a lot of patches on clothing now. The patches have more restrictions on the washing label.

I think Disney puts hand wash or gentle on just about everything now, to cover their behinds. My dd was complaining about all the shirts she bought in November, even a simple t-shirt.

Looking closely, it appears as though the central "compass" part might be embroidered, as well as the WDW print below. The surrounding park icons seem to be printed.

Rey Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber & Toy Lightsaber Discounted in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Guests looking to purchase Rey Skywalker’s lightsaber can find two versions of the elegant weapon, which was designed for a more civilized age, at a discount! Both the highly-themed “Legacy” version of the lightsaber and the plastic “toy” version of the weapon are discounted right now. Here’s a look!
Rey Skywalker’s Lightsaber Discount

We’ll start with a look at the Legacy Lightsaber, which is marked down from $159.99 to $99.00. Note that no additional discounts apply to the price. We found the discounted lightsabers in Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Galaxy’s Edge.



The “lights and sounds” lightsaber is also discounted, marked down from $44.99 to $25.00. Cast Members were not sure how long the discount(s) would be offered. If I had to guess, the font color suggests a holiday-time discount, so it might not be offered much longer. Other Legacy Lightsabers and toy lightsabers remain at full retail price.

Hollywood Studios Earffel Tower Water Bottle & Shot Glass

Gone, but not forgotten, the Earffel Tower is now represented on water bottles and shot glasses available for purchase at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Earffel Tower was the park icon for Disney’s Hollywood Studios since the park opened in 1989. The Earffel Tower was demolished in April 2016 as part of the work to create Toy Story Land. The “water” tower never actually held water, but it was designed to mimic water towers commonly found on movie studio lots as part of the theming of Disney-MGM Studios.

Now, a small line of drinkware features the iconic structure


Earffel Tower Water Bottle | $29.99

The Earffel Tower water bottle is a silver metallic water bottle featuring the former icon of Disney’s Hollywood Studios – the Earffel Tower.




Earffel Tower Shot Glass | $9.99

The shot glass, or toothpick holder in family-friendly Disney terms, features the same design as the water bottle, showing the Earffel Tower and “Est. 1989”. Both the shot glass and water bottle are labeled for hand wash only.

We found both the water bottle and shot glass in the Celebrity 5 & 10 shop on Hollywood Boulevard.

Gold Outline Cinderella Castle Merchandise Collection (Spirit Jersey, Ears, Starbucks Tumbler, and More)
We recently made it out to Disney Springs to take a walk around and see what’s new. On the merchandise side, there were a number of new items at World of Disney, including the Gold Outline Cinderella Castle merchandise line. Here’s a look!

Gold Outline Cinderella Castle Spirit Jersey | $84.99​

The spirit jersey features Cinderella Castle prominently on the lower half of the back of the garment. Iridescent lettering featuring the Walt Disney World logo is across the upper back of the Spirit Jersey, including bursts of fireworks. The front of the Spirit Jersey features the stylized “D” for Disney in an iridescent color and the established date.

Gold Outline Cinderella Castle Ears | $34.99​

Cinderella Castle is outlined in gold against a deep blue background color with fireworks on the front and back of the ears. The bow is purple. The Walt Disney World logo can be found on the side of the ears in gold.

Gold Outline Cinderella Castle Magnet | $14.99​

A predominantly purple magnet features the same Cinderella Castle design and Walt Disney World logo.

Gold Outline Cinderella Castle Starbucks Tumbler | $39.99​

Guests looking to purchase a Starbucks tumbler can find one as part of this Gold Outline Cinderella Castle merchandise line. The tumbler ditches the gold and focuses on purple.

Continuing the theme of drinkware, we have a very shiny mug, complete with a shiny gold handle and shiny gold rim. On one side of the mug, we have a reverse pattern with Cinderella Castle in gold instead of outlined in gold. The other side of the mug has the Walt Disney World logo and fireworks.

Continuing the classy drinkware is a glass flute with the golden Cinderella Castle with fireworks, a purple hue through the bottom half of the glass, and the Walt Disney World logo.

Magic Kingdom Postcard-Style Spirit Jersey

A new Spirit Jersey is now available at Magic Kingdom, and it features a fun postcard-style design that brings characters and iconic parts of the world’s most-visited theme park into the Magic Kingdom logo on the back of the garment. The Spirit Jersey is available in The Emporium.
