Disney Shopping Card Promo Offer HELP

Back in 2009 my family booked a trip to Disney World with my parents. My parents used their Disney Visa to pay the deposit and final payment for their portion of the trip. We went in December 2009. Sometime in December before we went my mother received a postcard type mailer that had an offer on it for getting Disney Parks Shopping Card. There were 3 levels at which you could purchase. I dont remember the lower or upper levels just the middle one in which I bought. For $445 I got a $800 Disney Parks Shopping card. I think there was a $300, and maybe a $1000 offer but I did the middle one. I believe it was somehow connected to the Disney Visa because I did not get the offer, but a friend who also went in 2009 got the offer and she booked using her Disney Visa. I have called and asked several people and no one can answer me about this offer. No one knows what I am talking about. I found the charge on my bank statement and the number listed with is is a Disney World Phone number. All I remember is it came to my mom, it was a postcard mailer, it had three options to PRE buy a disney shopping card one being $445 for $800 credit, I bought it on 12/11/09 for vacation starting 12/18/09, I received the card upon checking at our resort. I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS AGAIN THIS YEAR, but no one has been able to help me...

My mother is taking everyone to Disney World this Christmas again and she used her Disney Visa to pay deposits and will use it to make final payments and we wanted to know if anyone has heard of this promo recently.

I have a Disney Visa and remember that deal. We went in Dec 2009 as well, and took advantage of it. I forget the exact amounts too, but remember there were 3 different price points and I think we paid $300 for a $500 GC. I haven't seen anything like it recently though.

That was a pin code offer for a WDW Merchandise Credit. Nobody really knows why some people got it and not others, just like pin codes for resort stays. I don't believe it was affiliated with Disney Visas. I don't believe it's been offered since. It was a great deal and like you, I'd take advantage of it as well if it was offered.

I remember this. Now, it's $1000 shopping card + 60 pins framed set for $1000 (plus $20 shipping & handling). So, you don't really save anything.

That was a different offer. I went in Dec 2009 and I got the same offer that the OP is referencing. The Merchandise Card had no expiration but it could not be used for room charges, dining or tickets. I still have the card and it has a few dollars left on it.

You could a buy a $500 Walt Disney World Merchandise Credit for just $395.
Or there was also the opportunity to purchase a $600 credit for just $445 or a $1,000 credit for just $695. You could only buy one card.
