I'd kill for the 80's it was 107 yesterday and we have humidity which is pretty rare for our neck of the woods.

Yesterday it was 112 with humidty (which we also don't normally have) here. I turned on the A/C instead of the swamp cooler because we were just dying!

I have no clue what the temperatures are outside, I had surgery on my ankle a four weeks ago and have been on crutches since, so I haven't been going outside at all. Thank goodness for A/C!

we don't have A/C here, we have windows 80s is pretty hot for us - I think the max we've had was 98 a couple of summers ago (since when we had two horrible cold wet summers) So we're not really used to it.

Its been very humid all day but there's a slight breeze now. Gonna be a sticky night

What up Cha-town!!!! Yeah it was sooo miserable yesterday My daughter refused to pu PJ's on last night and it was the first time I turned my AC down to 80. It was just so muggy and humid and I just looked it was 111 yesterday.
Stay inside or you'll melt!!!

Hi all
I haven't checked in for a while --- so sorry! We leave tomorrow (actually it'll be before "normal" people get up in the morning!) for our "Mickey Beach Trip", so I've been busy packing a family of 5

I'm happy to say both my layouts are ready to roll! I have all the paper, supplies, etc. for both. I made 2 of the BBQ Sauce one & have the 2nd one laid out - just needs to be assembled. As soon as we get back from the beach, it'll get it wrapped up & mailed off ..... the comes the hard part ....... WAITING!

I have 3 sets done and am almost done with the 4th set.

pretty in tink's dd knows what recipe she wants to do-now all we have to do is find it. I found a similar idea of a recipe, but not the one she wants, so she may have to adapt. She has her paper picked out and it will work for either recipe. It's called Chocolate Swirl from the Chocolate Chalet Collection by Cloud9Design.

Off topic-when I was at the dollar store the other day, I found some K & Co Wedding Multi Color Twinkle Type (glittered) Chipboard Alphabet sets for a dollar each. It's part of their wedding collection, but I can think of lots of things I could use them for.

Our pound stores are super lame - multi packs of scourer sponges which are cheaper in the ordinary supermarkets

I'll be mailing Monday as I didn't get home early enough to finish my other swap yesterday
