Hi all,
I hope someone can help here !.. I have been researching this game and would love to pick it up .. but I am getting different info depending on what site I land on...

for recommended ages, I see conflicting info, depending on which website I am reading :

a) good for 5-10
b) good for 8-12
c) for 6 and up

I am now confused , are there more than 1 Disney Scene It game ?
or is there only one.
thanks for all your help.

We have the game. I'd say its good for anyone over the age of 5 familiar with Disney movies. The nice thing about the Scene It games is as long as you know the subject, its very easy to play.

My family loves it because the little ones have a set of questions, and there is also a harder set for the older ones. Mine are older, but my youngest uses the younger set, and it levels the playing field for her. I agree with the 5 and older......and I definitley recommend the game. It is one of the very few that wasn't immediately tossed aside. :thumbsup2

Ditto. It's perfect for everyone in the family. DD got hers 2 years ago and is still playing it.

We have this game and my sons who are 6 and 8 love it. There are some "all play" questions that are written on the screen and I have to read them out loud so that my younger son can play along. Otherwise he would still be reading the question while we were guessing the answer. :)

So I think a 5 year old would enjoy playing with the family. :thumbsup2

We have it and our box says 6 to adult.

Some of the dvd questions require the players to be able to be good readers - to unscramble scrambled letters, for example. We mostly get around that by playing in teams or by replaying questions that are beyond her skill level, but my now 6 year old DD still finds it frustrating sometimes.

great... thanks for all the input..
I was beginning to think that there were different versions of the game.....

We play this game every Saturday for family game night we have a closet full of games but this is the one they always ask for!

We have 7, 8 and 11 year olds and they all love it.

We bought this game when my DS-5 was 4 and he loves it. He can't read the questions, but as long as he is playing with older kids or adults it works great.

We also have that game. We love it. As long as you are old enough to watch Disney movies and talk you can play.

We have this and love it! I get the older questions in the game, my husband and the kids get the younger questions.... seems to work out fair for us.

Even my three year old loves this game! Sometimes we change the questions to stuff she can answer... like "What is the name of the movie?" instead of a question about the movie. She wants to play all the time!!!

Well the other versions (non disney) have different age suggestions. So maybe that's where the confusion lies. I do know that the Disney one says age 6 to adult. I bought it for my neice who is turning 6 next week.

It's a great game, my girls are 9 & 11 now, got it last year for Christmas. I just wish that they'd release a, update pack to get new questions.

My DD (16) has movie nites at the house with her friends. They always play this game.

I love watching them play.

It is a great game for all ages.

I just bought the Nick cartoon one for this xmas

they have released a booster pack this year...we have it at work (Barnes & Noble), I think it's $25 and there's a new dvd, new pack of cards and extra tokens in it....

Besides Barnes and Noble , has anyone seen these booster packs sold anywhere else ??

thanks !!

I bought an updated pack at Target. I think Wal-Mart sells them, too.
