Hi all,
I hope someone can help here !.. I have been researching this game and would love to pick it up .. but I am getting different info depending on what site I land on...

for recommended ages, I see conflicting info, depending on which website I am reading :

a) good for 5-10
b) good for 8-12
c) for 6 and up

I am now confused , are there more than 1 Disney Scene It game ?
or is there only one.
thanks for all your help.

I would definitely say 5 and up. My son who is 4, plays it well.

I realize I'm posting this about 2 months after your OP, and it's after Christmas and Hanukkah, but let me jump right in anyway ....

We just got it last week. Our 6 year old son has legitimately beat us twice. He comes up with correct answers that we've been utterly shocked at. Our box says it's recommended for ages 8 and up.

I am looking to buy this game too but I have heard there are two versions. One with Pixar films and one without. Is it the bonus pack that includes Pixar? Also, we have several Scene-it Games. Can I just buy the bonus pack or do I need the full version?

Thanks,
Blakely

Good thing about the game is there are 2 seperate types of cards, one in green and one in purple. The green ones are the easier of the two. So you can give the kiddies the green cards while the adults use the purple ones. It really is a fun game. DH and I have the "normal" scene-it and it is wayyyy too hard! But my brother and his GF have the disney one and we love it!

I bought just the booster pack to go with my regular scene it. It has the pixar movies in it along with disney channel tv shows and movies. Does the original disney scene it just do movies or does it include disney channel stuff as well. BF and I don't have cable so the booster pack isn't really as fun as we thought it would be.

I believe it just does the movies. We havent came across anything from the Disney channel or anything. Just questions about the movies.

I found the deluxe edition on ebay before Christmas and there are 2 dvds- one is geared toward younger children and the questions are read aloud on the dvd. We have already playd for hours and my DD5 and DS almost 3 love it! I highly recommend it for all ages!

We just started playing this with DD5 and she loves it. However, the scene from HISTK where the son is in the bowl of cereal and the Dad is goign to eat him came on. It freaked DD out big time. She didn't want to play any more afte the game was done and started crying. :(

I got the expansion pack for Christmas and we love it. When we are in the Disney mood we put it in the dvd player, set it to party play and just let it go. Definately going with us to WDW this year with the portable DVD player.

I got disney scene it last year for christmas and I love it! I also have these other games called the woderful world of disney trivia and the wondeful world of disney 2 the sequel both no dvd. hope it helps!:thumbsup2

Our kids are 7 and 9. We all enjoy the Disney Scene It game. My inlaws gave it to us for Christmas and we've played it lots over the last month.

I own this game. I love it, my grown friends and I play it constantly. :rotfl: My DS is till a little to young to get but we play clips and get him to name that movie and he has a ball. :woohoo: So its more or less fun for all ages, but to actually play, I would say 5 and up.:thumbsup2

I personally love Disney Scene it. Being a teen, me and my cousins play it often, and we know most of the answers. But it is still a blast, any child who knows their Disney movies should be fine with I think. I know my lil cousin of about 9 loves it dearly.
