We have had a savings account for the last few years but I need a refresher. Can I use it to pay for my AP renewal and Christmas Party tickets? I think I paid for the party with it last year by calling.

Can someone please check if I got this right? I opened a DVA account in May and deposited $1000. I would like to deposit a $1000 Disney gift card. Doable right? Then sometime in December (can't remember when we can) I would like to pay DVC dues with DVA gift card(s). Is the money in the DVA acct lumped into one gift card to pay DVC dues and I just call Member acctg with this GC number or will it be 2 gift card numbers? Thanks for any help.

Yes, you can deposit the funds from a Disney Gift Card into the Disney Vacation Account.

Officially, you can't use the DVA to pay your DVC MFs. From the DVA FAQs:

Can I apply my Disney Vacation Account toward the Annual Dues for my Disney Vacation Club Membership?
No, your Annual Dues cannot be paid using your Disney Vacation Account.

That said, if you tell DVC Member Accounting you are paying with a Disney Gift Card and give them your DVA Account Number, they won't know the difference.
